Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives an indication of a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) hopping offset from a network entity. The UE may process PTRSs transmitted in different transmissions across multiple symbols or time slots. In one example, processing the PTRSs may include transmitting the PTRSs in uplink (UL) slots. In another example, processing the PTRSs may include monitoring for the PTRSs in downlink (DL) slots. Frequency resources for the PTRSs may change across the different transmissions based on the PTRS hopping offset.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may extract, from a neighboring base station with cell coverage that overlaps cell coverage of the base station, information associated with user equipment (UE) transmission of MsgA messages. The base station may select, based at least in part on the information, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource to allocate to a UE for transmission of a MsgA message. Abstract: A method of wireless communication includes, in response to a trigger event detected at a first base station, performing, by the first base station, a scan of a plurality of frequencies for a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission from a second base station. The plurality of frequencies correspond to a plurality of global synchronization channel numbers (GSCNs) associated with the first base station and the second base station. The first base station is associated with a first coverage area that is at least partially within a second coverage area associated with the second base station. The method further includes transmitting, by the first base station, one or more SSBs having an SSB configuration that is based on a result of the scan.

Abstract: An open radio access network (O-RAN) may include a control unit that communicates with a core network, a distributed unit that communicates with the control unit, a radio unit that communicates with the distributed unit and a user equipment (UE). Currently, the O-RAN may lack support for static configuration for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communication of message-A in a third generation partnership project (3GPP) two-step random access procedure. Hence, according to some aspects of the disclosure, the distributed unit may receive, from a radio unit, a static configuration support indication for receiving payload data via a message in a two-step random access procedure, the message including a preamble and the payload data. The distributed unit may further transmit, in response to receiving the static configuration support indication, static configuration information to the radio unit, the static configuration information for receiving the payload data communicated via the message.

The method generally includes compressing at least one reference signal (RS) in one or more first set of resource elements (REs) of a symbol and data in one or more second set of REs of the symbol, wherein the at least one RS is compressed using a first compression type and the data is compressed using a second compression type, and wherein the first compression type is different than the second compression type; and sending, to a radio unit (RU), the symbol having the at least one RS in the one or more first set of REs and the data in the one or more second set of REs compressed using the first and second compression types, respectively.

Abstract: The apparatus may be a UE. The UE may be configured to receive, from a second UE, an indication of a first DC location corresponding to a first subcarrier of multiple subcarriers. The UE may further be configured to decode at least one transmission from the second UE based on the received indication of the first DC location corresponding to the first subcarrier. The UE may also be configured to receive a request for a second DC location and to transmit, to the second UE, an indication of a second DC location corresponding to a second subcarrier of the multiple subcarriers. The UE may, in some aspects, further be configured to receive, from a base station, signaling relating to a transmission of a DC location between sidelink UEs.

Abstract: In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for wireless communication performed by base station includes receiving a first system information block of type 1 (SIB1) transmitted by a second base station. The transmission of the first SIB1 is based on a first plurality of physical random access channel (PRACH) parameters that are based on one or more first PRACH root sequences associated with the second base station. The method further includes transmitting a second SIB1 based on a second plurality of PRACH parameters that are based on a second PRACH root sequence selected as not to be one of the one or more first PRACH root sequences.
