In one aspect, a base station configures a plurality of SSB Tx periodicities associated with a plurality of ES modes. The base station transmits an indication of the plurality of SSB Tx periodicities associated with the plurality of ES modes. The base station transmits one or more SSBs based on one of the plurality of SSB Tx periodicities associated with one of the plurality of ES modes.

The first wireless node may transmit a second indication of the energy-saving configuration for traffic routing to the second wireless node. Abstract: A first base station may establish a first connection with an IAB node and transmit, to a second base station, a request for the second base station to establish a second connection with the IAB node. The first base station may indicate to the second base station, based on the second connection being established with the IAB node, that at least one of a first base station or the second base station is to serve as an IAB donor for the IAB node. The second base station may acceptor reject the indication received from the first base station that the at least one of the first base station or the second base station is to serve as the IAB donor for the IAB node.

Abstract: A second network node determines a backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) configuration associated with a backhaul traffic transport and including a topology identifier corresponding to a topology of a plurality of topologies for which traffic associated with the topology is transported based on the BAP configuration. The second network node sends, to a first network node, the BAP configuration associated with the backhaul traffic transport. The first network node receives a first BAP configuration associated with a first topology identifier (ID) corresponding to a first topology, and a second BAP configuration associated with a second topology ID corresponding to a second topology that overlaps at least in part with the first topology. The first network node determines with which traffic is associated routes traffic associated with the first topology ID based on the first BAP configuration, and traffic associated with the second topology ID based on the second BAP configuration.

Abstract: Present disclosure provides techniques for migrating integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes from the source centralized unit (CU) to a target IAB-donor-CU of a base station. Features of the present disclosure achieve such migration by configuring the IAB distributed unit (IAB-DU) to establish F1-connection (F1-C) with the target IAB-donor-CU via the source path before the user equipment (UE) context transfer occurs. To this end, the source IAB-donor-CU may initiate an F1-C establishment between IAB-node DU and target IAB-donor-CU. The source IAB-donor-CU may do so by acting or presenting as an IAB-node-DU proxy to the target IAB-donor-CU. At the same time, the source IAB-donor-CU may act or present as a target-IAB-donor-CU proxy to the IAB-node-DU.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing a common channel sensing procedure for transmissions via a mobile termination (MT) role or via a distributed unit (DU) role of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, or both. In one aspect, the IAB node may obtain channel access for transmissions via the MT role or the DU role, or both, using the same channel sensing procedure. The IAB node may select a timing of a sensing slot for the common channel sensing procedure in accordance with a capability of the IAB node and a timing of the transmissions. The IAB node may initiate a channel occupancy time (COT) for the transmissions via the MT role or the DU role, or both, as a result of determining that a measured energy detection (ED) value satisfies an ED threshold.

In some aspects, an IAB node of the IAB network may perform a channel access procedure to acquire the COT and share the COT with a parent IAB node and/or a child IAB node for the parent IAB node and/or child IAB node for the parent IAB node and/or child IAB node to share, or use the COT for communication, with a third IAB node different from the COT-initiating IAB node.
