Abstract: Techniques described herein enable the provision of configuration information between one or more network entities of a home service provider (SP) and one or more network entities of a network such as a standalone non-public network (SNPN) to support a user equipment (UE) associated with the home SP that is visiting the SNPN. For example, the configuration information may enable the UE to access or use services provided by the home SP. In some aspects, the configuration information may include a proxy call session control function address, tunneling information, or the like. In this way, functions are supported for a UE visiting an SNPN despite a home SP that provides the functions not having a session management function (SMF) for signaling of configuration information supporting the functions. Thus, the interconnection of SNPNs and home SP networks is improved.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating time synchronization functionality at user equipment are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first device includes transmitting, to a second device, capability information indicating that the first device is capable of operating as a PTP grand master clock. The example method also includes receiving, from the second device, one or more PTP parameters based on the capability information indicating that the first device is capable of operating as a PTP grand master clock. Additionally, the example method includes generating, based on the one or more PTP parameters received from the second device, a first PTP message including time information. Further, the example method includes transmitting the first PTP message including the time information to one or more downstream devices in communication with the first device.

Abstract: Enabling Ethernet Header Compression (EHC) for use with data sent within a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) control plane of a wireless communication network. In one aspect, a wireless communication device sends a signal to a wireless communication network indicating the device supports EHC for data transfer over a control plane. The device obtains a response from the wireless communication network indicating the wireless communication network supports EHC for data transfer over the control plane. The device then sends an Ethernet packet compressed using EHC to the wireless communication network over the control plane. The wireless communication device may be configured to send a request to the wireless communication network to use EHC before sending the Ethernet packet compressed using EHC. The device sends the compressed Ethernet packet only if the request is granted. In another aspects, complementary EHC features are provided within a network component of the wireless communication network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described herein. For example, a UE may transmit a radio capability identifier to a network entity. In some examples, the radio capability identifier may indicate a set of radio capabilities of the UE. In response to receiving the radio capability identifier, the network entity may determine feedback indicating whether the set of radio capabilities indicated by the radio capability identifier satisfy a respective radio capabilities of a radio capability profile for an application associated with the UE. The network entity may transmit the determined feedback to the UE and, in response, the UE may establish a session for the application associated with the UE.
