Abstract: A terrace canopy comprising a column and a beam (5), the beam being supported by the column (70) at a position between its ends and the beam, at that location, having a recess (100) such that two to facing ends (103, 104) are present in the beam. Fastening means in the form of headboards (60) are provided between the ends of the beam and the column for attaching the beam to the column. The headboards each form a fastening element without a folding line, which creates a stronger connection between the column and the beam.

Abstract: A terrace canopy, comprising a beam having a top side, a bottom side, an inner side and an outer side, and, in its cross-section, is provided with a screen cavity (25) which is delimited by an upright inner side wall and a horizontal top wall and an internal space (26) above the screen cavity. An upright wall extends from the end of the horizontal top wall. The beam comprises either a first closure profile for closing off the internal space or a wall profile (20) attached to the upright wall and a second closure profile (15a) for closing off the internal space. Thus, multiple configurations of the beam are possible and an additional wall holder may be provided on the outer side of the screen cavity such that a double side wall infill is possible.

Abstract: A terrace canopy comprising a beam which is constructed from a set of profiles. The set includes a beam profile (12) provided to serve as a beam of the terrace canopy, in which the beam profile has an upright inner side wall and a first connection means. The set also comprises two mutually different spacer profiles (16; 24), each of which is attachable to the beam profile via the first connection means. Each spacer profile also has a further connection means (416; 451 ) to which a beam-finishing profile (14; 14a) can be attached, which beam-finishing profiles also form part of the set. The spacer profile determines the distance between the outward facing surface of the beam-finishing profile and the upright wall of the beam profile. Hence, the width of the beam can be varied depending on the type of wall infill.
