Abstract: The invention relates to a method for inspecting a gas turbine (10), wherein a robotic device (29) is inserted into the interior of the gas turbine (10), and wherein the robotic device (29) is moved, by means of the drive thereof, and/or fixed in the interior space. Areas to be inspected are optically examined and images thus obtained are transferred to an external evaluation unit (32). The robotic device (29) is inserted via an air inlet A or a gas outlet B, or via an access opening C of the gas turbine (10). The robotic device (29) is moved along a flow channel (33), wherein the robotic device (29) is fixed either to a stationary component or to a rotating component of the gas turbine (10).
