Abstract: The invention relates to a pouch for picking up and carrying waste such as canine excrement. The pouch (1) comprises a bag (2) with an extension in the form of a flap (3) for closing an opening of said bag (2), the bag (2) comprising a front wall (4) and a back wall (14), the flap (3) defining an extension of the rear wall (14) in order to assume an opened picking-up position in which it is folded back against an outer surface of said back wall (14), or a closed transport position in which it is folded back against an outer surface of the front surface (4). The invention can be used for urban sanitation.
