Abstract:
The invention relates to a brush for collecting oil from water using a collection device, which brush (10) includes - a body (12) arranged to form a circle (14) arranged to be supported around the rotation shaft (104) of a collection device (100), which body (12) includes an outer surface (24), - bristle bunches (22), comprising several individual brush fibres (20) attached to the said outer surface (24) to collect oil, each of which brush fibre has two ends, i.e. a base end (44) and a free end (48), which bristle bunches (22) include first bristle bunches (25) and second bristle bunches (28), of which the second bristle bunches (28) are greater in length between the free end (48) of the brush fibres (20) and the outer surface (24) of the body (12) than the first bristle bunches (25), which said bristle bunches (22) form a continuous brush surface (26) on the brush (10). In the said second bristle bunches (28) the brush fibres (20) are bent over a selected length in a selected direction, which direction differs from the direction of the brush fibre (20) over the rest of the length of the brush fibre (20) and which selected length is greater than the length of the first bristle bunches (25) from the outer surface (24) of the body. The invention also relates to a corresponding collection device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a side brush, which is adapted to be mounted on the body of a sweeping machine, for use as a brush rotatable (W) about a rotation axis (V), and which comprises a base element (1) and a plurality of individual bristle segments (2) detachably mountable thereto, having bristles (2a’) included therein integrated for a solid unit with a frame member (2a’’) joining the same. The base element (1) comprises a substantially planar disc assembly which is provided integrally with a coupling system for coupling the bristle segments (2) therewith on a snap fit principle. The coupling system is implemented by means of elongated channels (U) disposed in the base element (1) in a substantially radial direction (R) and extending through the base element, opening all the way to the edge thereof, which enable coupling the bristle segments (2) immovably to the segment with the body of a sweeping machine by means of the base element (1) with fasteners (3) interconnecting the same, such as in a screw clamping or suchlike fashion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for manually cleaning an environment of a substance (O) with an oil content, which includes one or several hand tools (10, 10.1 - 10.3), which include a handle part (49), a brush element (13), attached to the handle part, to which bristles (40.1, 40.2) are fitted, one or several cleaning tools (20, 20.1 - 20.3), which include one or several scrapers (24, 24.1 - 24.3) equipped with scraper elements (33, 33.1 - 33.3), for cleaning the hand tool's brush element of the substance with an oil content. In at least one hand tool belonging to the system at least some of bristles are arranged to form bristle bunches (41.1, 41.2) in the brush element and in the brush element at least some of the bristle bunches are at a distance (D) from each other. The scraper elements of the scraper of at least one cleaning tool and the bristle bunches of the brush element of the hand tool belonging to the system are arranged relative to each other for scraping the substance with an oil content from between the bristle bunches by means of the scraper elements. In addition, the invention also relates to a method for manually cleaning an environment of a substance with an oil content, as well as hand tools and their cleaning tools for the system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a brush element which is intended for use, along with a number of others like it, especially in a circular brush rotatable around an axis of rotation, attachable to the frame of a sweeping machine, and including a head segment which comprises a substantially flat disc assembly provided with a coupling system for coupling brush elements (2) therewith. Bristles (2a’) which make up a bristle segment (2a) for the brush element are coupled for an integral unit with a body segment (2b) connecting the same. The brush element has its bristles (2a1) coupled with the body segment (2b) in a configuration tapering in a substantially conical manner towards one end (II) of the body segment (2b) in its lengthwise direction (s) as viewed from above.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a brush roller, which consists of brush rings that are to be placed in a longitudinal direction (s) one after the other on an elongated auxiliary frame (A) , each one of the brush rings consisting of a frame part (2) that is provided with an essentially radially directed (r) bristle formation (1) . The brush roller is coupleable with a brushing machine by means of coupling parts (K) , existing in connection with the brush roller's auxiliary frame (A) and having a through hole (O) preferably with a shape of a polygon, such as a square. The brush rings belonging to the brush roller have a discontinuous bristle formation (1; Ia), when viewed in a cross section, and the frame parts (2) thereof comprise a mechanical coupling assembly (3), which makes possible coupling of the brush rings to be coupled one after the other on the auxiliary frame (A) in deviating positions in respect with each other particularly in order to achieve a bristle formation of the brush roller that is spiral shaped, symmetrical with gaps or a like.
