Abstract:
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Waschvorrichtung für eine Fahrzeugwaschanlage, welche Waschvorrichtung eine um eine Drehachse drehend antreibbare Welle und mit dieser in Wirkverbindung stehende Waschelemente zum Reinigen eines Fahrzeugs umfasst. Um eine derartige Waschvorrichtung bereitzustellen, mit der eine Anpassung an die Kontur eines Fahrzeugs ermöglicht wird, um eine bessere Reinigung desselben zu erzielen, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass die Waschvorrichtung axial in zwei oder mehr Waschvorrichtungssegmente unterteilt ist und dass mindestens ein Waschvorrichtungssegment einen Waschelementhaltekörper mit daran gehaltenen Waschelementen aufweist, der eine von der Drehachse unterschiedliche Waschvorrichtungssegmentachse definiert, sowie eine Getriebeeinrichtung, die die Welle mit dem Waschelementhaltekörper koppelt, um diesen um die Waschvorrichtungssegmentachse zu rotieren, wobei der Waschelementhaltekörper über die Getriebeeinrichtung relativ zur Welle verschwenkbar ausgebildet ist. Außerdem betrifft die Erfindung eine Fahrzeugwaschanlage mit einer Waschvorrichtung.

In one embodiment, the present invention provides a buffer brush. When rotating, the buffer brush acts as a centrifugal pump. The buffer brush contains a core having a first side and a second side and the brush extends radially from the surface of the core. The first and second sides have at least one opening configured to allow air to flow laterally through the core to also flow radially through the vents into the brush.

The present invention relates to mascara. The mascara is configured to include: disk plates 10 to 50 on which combs 11 to 51 and brushes 12 to 52 are formed to be radially protruded along the outer circumferential surfaces thereof; and a predetermined stacking means by which a plurality of single disk plates 10 to 50 are coupled to be stacked. Thereby, the plurality of disk plates in a thin panel shape of which the outer circumferential surfaces are formed with the combs and the brushes are stacked to complete predetermined mascara, such that the stacking arrangement of the disks becomes various. As a result, the comb/brush can be arranged as desired such that the external appearance of the mascara can be various and gorgeous. Further, the mascara can perform various cosmetic functions due to a composite type of the comb and brush. In addition, when a portion of the comb or the brush is damaged, the mascara can be reused by replacing only the corresponding disk plate such that it has effects that the lifespan can be long as well as the reliability of a product can be improved, and the like.

An abrasive filament including a matrix of thermoplastic polymer; and a plurality of abrasive particles such as eutectic alumina zirconia particles interspersed throughout at least a portion of the matrix. Abrasive brushes including such abrasive filaments are also disclosed. Methods of deburring a substrate having at least one burr, with a brush, the brush having bristles including eutectic alumina zirconia particles and a matrix of thermoplastic polymer, wherein the method includes the steps of: contacting the substrate with at least one bristle of the brush in a contact region; and inducing relative motion between the substrate and the at least one bristle.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing of a brush ring with bristles particularly made of metal, which brush ring is intended to be used with one or several corresponding brush rings as a brush, that rotates (w) around a longitudinal axis (s) in a brushing machine. The brush ring consists of a brush part (1) having bristles made of metal and a ring shaped frame part (2) advantageously made of plastics, that connects the radially directed (r) bristles (1a) forming the brush part (1). During manufacturing of the brush ring, a brush part preform (1a') is being produced known as such of the bristles (1a) during a preliminary manufacturing phase by binding the ends (I) of the bristles, that are to be connected to the frame part (2), with each other by means of a plastic based binding mass (m), that is in a flowing state and that solidifies to an essentially solid state. The binding mass (m) is being fed during a preliminary manufacturing phase of the brush part (1) to the ends (I) of the bristles (1a) essentially in the longitudinal direction (r) of the bristles (1a), particularly in order to make the penetration of the binding mass (m) among the bristles (1a) more efficient. The invention relates also to an apparatus operating according to the method.
