Abstract:
A rapid clamping base for an open rifle sights, the base consisting of two clamping frames, a front frame (1) and a rear frame (2), whose clamping rings (3,4) retain the sight (5). The frames can be clamped by means of a rapid retainer to a two-piece clamping rail (6, 7) in a gun, such as a sporting gun. The claws (8, 9) provided in the front frame (1) for engagement with the clamping rail (6) are provided at differ- ent locations relative to the longitudinal direction of the rail so as to be pressed in engagement with the edges of the rail when the optic sight (5) is turned in the hori- zontal plane from the lateral direction (10) to the central line of the gun. The front frame (1) also comprises a support tongue (11) extending downwardly and bearing against the rear edge of the front clamping rail (6). The rear frame (2) comprises second claws (12, 13) engaging the clamping rail (7), one claw (12) being solidly mounted in the rear frame and the other, i.e. the clamping claw (13) being movable and in position to be pressed against the edge of the rail. The rear frame (2) also comprises a support tongue (14) extending downwards and bearing against the front edge of the rear clamping rail (7), both of the frames thus having three pressing points on the clamping rails.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a breech device for bolt-action firearms, the breech device consisting of a breech body (2) reciprocating in the receiver (1) and rotatable into locking position. In its front part, the breech body has locking lugs (3, 4, 5) located in three sectors, the locking lugs (4, 5) in at least two sectors being formed in a breech device equipped with a magazine (6) loaded in parallel so that there are four guide surfaces (7, 8, 9, 10) to limit rotation between the receiver and the breech body, and the breech body (2) has a recessed locking surface (11) for the cartridge at its end. The locking surface of the cartridge has been extended downwardly to form a glide surface (12) passing between the locking lugs (4, 5) so that the rear surface of the cartridge case slides on the glide surface and the locking surface into locking position as the cartridge is ejected from the magazine (6) into the cartridge housing.
Abstract:
A stock (10) for a firearm, provided with a stock frame section (3) and a releasably attachable cheekpiece (1, 2), in which the stock frame section (3) is symmetrical in relation to the longitudinal vertical direction of the stock, and when the cheekpiece (1, 2) is installed to the left side of the stock frame section (3), the stock becomes a right-handed stock, and when the cheekpiece (1, 2) is installed to the right side of the stock frame section (3), the stock becomes a left-handed stock. According to an advantageous embodiment the cheekpiece (1, 2) is adjustable, preferably quick- adjustable in height.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a recoil pad of a firearm, consisting of a flexible and elastic damping cushion (2), which is attached to the butt of a firearm stock (1) and which rests against the shoulder (3) when shooting. Inside the recoil pad there is a displacement device (4), which in connection with compression creates an upward displacement in the recoil pad.
Abstract:
A rifle with a replaceable barrel with two or more barrels for different purposes and calibres and with own cases for different cartridges. At least one barrel (1) has the cavity (2), into which a projection or upper edge (4) in the cartridge case (3) corresponding to the barrel fits, when the right case has been inserted into the rifle
Abstract:
A firearm (1) which is arranged modifiable by the user such that a firearm barrel (30) is arranged replaceable by the user, whereby the firearm (1) comprises - a barrel unit (3), which is arranged detachable by the user and fastenable to a receiver (20), which barrel unit (3) comprises the barrel (30) and a locking piece (35), - whereby the locking piece (35) is composed to comprise an external shape, which comprises a backward narrowing rear cone (355), which fits a cone (205) in the receiver (20) and which external shape comprises a forward narrowing front cone (356), and which fits a cone (366) in the centering bush (36), - whereby to the centering bush (36) is rotatably connected a clamping bush (37) having an outer thread (372) which fits an inner thread (202) in the receiver, - whereby by rotating the clamping bush (37) in the locked direction, the rear end of the locking piece (35) is centerable by means of the rear cone (355) and lockable to the cone (205) in the receiver (20) and the locking piece (35) is of its front end centerable by means of the front cone (356) and lockable by means of the cone (366) of the centering bush (36) and a radially expanding cylinder surface (367) cocentrically to a cylinder surface in the surface (207) in the receiver, - whereby, in the tensioned state, the barrel unit (3) is in contact with the receiver (20) only of the locking piece (35) at the point of the rear cone (355) and at the point of the front cone (356).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lock of a magazine (1) for a firearm, consisting of a locking edge (2) in the magazine (1) and a magazine release (3), which rests on the locking edge and which is retained in the locking position by spring force (4). At the end of the magazine release (3) there is provided a backup cam (5), preventing the magazine release from opening before the magazine (1) is pushed inwards (A) so that the backup cam (5) can pass the locking edge (2) as the magazine release (3) is opened (B) for detaching the magazine.
Abstract:
A cartridge magazine (1) for firearms (3) has an elongated channel to receive a plurality of cartridges (2). The cartridge magazine (1) has a box (12) forming a housing of the cartridge magazine (1), a spring operated follower (13) for pressing the cartridges (2) in the magazine (1) to an upper position. In this position, the topmost cartridge (2) is ready for feeding into a chamber (36) of the firearm (3) and in this position the topmost cartridge (2) rests against a pair of retaining lips (10). The lips (10) remain in a first position when the topmost cartridge (2) is in the upper position and the lips (10) are operatively displaceable to a second position wider than the first position.
Abstract:
