Abstract:
A rapid clamping base for an open rifle sights, the base consisting of two clamping frames, a front frame (1) and a rear frame (2), whose clamping rings (3,4) retain the sight (5). The frames can be clamped by means of a rapid retainer to a two-piece clamping rail (6, 7) in a gun, such as a sporting gun. The claws (8, 9) provided in the front frame (1) for engagement with the clamping rail (6) are provided at differ- ent locations relative to the longitudinal direction of the rail so as to be pressed in engagement with the edges of the rail when the optic sight (5) is turned in the hori- zontal plane from the lateral direction (10) to the central line of the gun. The front frame (1) also comprises a support tongue (11) extending downwardly and bearing against the rear edge of the front clamping rail (6). The rear frame (2) comprises second claws (12, 13) engaging the clamping rail (7), one claw (12) being solidly mounted in the rear frame and the other, i.e. the clamping claw (13) being movable and in position to be pressed against the edge of the rail. The rear frame (2) also comprises a support tongue (14) extending downwards and bearing against the front edge of the rear clamping rail (7), both of the frames thus having three pressing points on the clamping rails.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a breech device for bolt-action firearms, the breech device consisting of a breech body (2) reciprocating in the receiver (1) and rotatable into locking position. In its front part, the breech body has locking lugs (3, 4, 5) located in three sectors, the locking lugs (4, 5) in at least two sectors being formed in a breech device equipped with a magazine (6) loaded in parallel so that there are four guide surfaces (7, 8, 9, 10) to limit rotation between the receiver and the breech body, and the breech body (2) has a recessed locking surface (11) for the cartridge at its end. The locking surface of the cartridge has been extended downwardly to form a glide surface (12) passing between the locking lugs (4, 5) so that the rear surface of the cartridge case slides on the glide surface and the locking surface into locking position as the cartridge is ejected from the magazine (6) into the cartridge housing.
Abstract:
A stock (10) for a firearm, provided with a stock frame section (3) and a releasably attachable cheekpiece (1, 2), in which the stock frame section (3) is symmetrical in relation to the longitudinal vertical direction of the stock, and when the cheekpiece (1, 2) is installed to the left side of the stock frame section (3), the stock becomes a right-handed stock, and when the cheekpiece (1, 2) is installed to the right side of the stock frame section (3), the stock becomes a left-handed stock. According to an advantageous embodiment the cheekpiece (1, 2) is adjustable, preferably quick- adjustable in height.
Abstract:
A method and a user interface are described for sighting in a virtual scope (100) of a virtual rifle. The point of the impact (118) of the virtual shot is determined, wherein the point of the impact (118) is based on ballistics (111) of the shot, a calibre (103) of the virtual rifle shooting the virtual shot and on a shooting distance (101) of the virtual shot. The virtual scope (100) is sighted in so that the virtual scope (100) can be sighted in based on the point of the impact (118) of the virtual shot. The virtual scope (100) have a substantial analogy with a real riflescope, thereby making the sighting in of the real scope more convenient.
Abstract:
A stock of a firearm, which can be warmed or cooled, in order to generate a comfortable temperature in designated portions. A warm or cool gunstock helps a shooter or hunter to stay outdoors longer in cold or hot circumstances and enables he or she to perform better triggering of the firearm with a reliable triggering hand. Warming or cooling is made with a separate thermal element, which can be inserted into a firearm.
Abstract:
A riflescope (11), which has an adjusting mechanism (16, 17) for aligning the rifle. By the adjusting mechanism (16, 17) there is provided a code, such as a pointer ring (12, 13, 14, 15) with a colour code, according to the scale of which the adjusting mechanism for the riflescope (11) can be adjusted for correcting the ballistic trajectory of a bullet to be fired wit the rifle.
Abstract:
The safety device (22) of a gun according to the invention comprises means for determining the geographical location (224) of the gun and the shooting direction (223). The safety device additionally comprises means (225) for receiving via a short range radio link from a gun user's mobile phone a safety area map related to the current location and location data of moving or fixed targets in this safety area. The safety device additionally has means (221, 229) for determining those moments, when the gun is in the shooting position. When the gun is in the shooting position the safety device determines the risk area, within which there must be no targets preventing shooting. The safety device determines the size of the safety area based on the type of gun and the shooting direction of the gun. If it is detected that there are targets preventing shooting in the determined risk area, then the safety device (22) generates a warning (227, 226) detectable with humans senses regarding this.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rifle comprising a stock (11) and a grip (12), in which the grip (12) is arranged interchangeable by the user. The grip (12) is attached to the stock (11) of the rifle (20) releasably by fastening means (14, 15, 16) and advantageously by a form-fitting attachment arrangement (17, 18). The in- vention also relates to a rifle system comprising a rifle (10), which rifle (10) comprises a stock and a grip (12). The rifle system comprises at least two grips (12) of different types interchangeable by the user.
