Abstract:
A PCEF for setting a PCC rule in a mobile communication network includes: a receiver for receiving a command message including a monitoring key list including at least one monitoring key corresponding to a PCC rule and a number of instances monitored in a corresponding service, from a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF); a setting unit for setting the PCC rule based on the command message and setting a monitoring key according to the at least one monitoring key; and a monitoring processor for setting a range of monitoring in consideration of the number of instances and the at least one monitoring key, and performing monitoring based on the set range of the monitoring.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for effective data sharing between users in a cloud computing system are provided. The cloud computing system includes a first cloud hub and a User Equipment (UE). The first cloud hub provides a cloud service to a UE connected by a public cloud access and provides a cloud service to a UE connected to a public personal cloud system installed by a service provider, and is installed by a user. The UE subscribes to the first cloud hub as a main cloud and inquires as to data stored in the first cloud hub.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a session keep-alive by a user equipment in a mobile communication system, comprising the steps of: setting request information of a session lifetime for a new application and transmitting the set request information to a network if the new application starts; and acquiring the session lifetime from the network and adjusting a message transmission period of the user equipment to keep-alive the session by using the session lifetime.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method in which an MME suspends a local IP access (LIPA) PDN connection in a long term evolution (LTE) system even when UE having an LIPA PDN connection uses CS fallback (CSFB) for receiving/transmitting voice communication in the LTE system, so that the UE may continuously use the LIPA PDN connection even after the CSFB voice communication ends. To this end, an embodiment of the present invention proposes a method for acquiring, from a domain name server (DNS), a decision on whether to support a local gateway (L-GW) suspend function to enable an MME to suspend an LIPA PDN connection upon occurrence of CSFB, a method for acquiring the decision through H(e)NB, and a method for acquiring the decision directly from L-GW.
Abstract:
In a wireless communication system comprising at least one user equipment (UE) and a plurality of devices using the same wireless network used by the at least one UE, a base station determines whether congestion has occurred on a random access channel (RACH) due to random access by the plurality of devices, modifies system information so as to reduce the number of UEs using one preamble from preambles that belong to a first preamble group, when congestion has occurred on the RACH, and broadcasts the system information that is modified, wherein the first preamble group from a plurality of preamble groups comprises preambles that are used by the plurality of devices.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a first standby method including a mobility management entity (MME) in a wireless communication system that includes predicting an overload duration time when an overload occurs, deciding as a reconnection method of a user equipment (UE) one of a plurality of reconnection methods by using the overload duration time that is predicted, transmitting to an eNodeB information on the reconnection method of the UE that is decided, wherein the plurality of reconnection methods represent methods for the UE attempting a reconnection with the MME after a predetermined first standby time; a second standby time for the UE attempting reconnection with the MME after a second standby time that is longer than the first standby time; and an MME reselection method for the UE attempting the reconnection with an MME which is different from the MME.
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a group key, and relates to a group key management method of a key distribution center, comprising the steps of: receiving a key request from a mobile device; generating a private key for the mobile device when leaving time information is included in the key request; generating a public key and a verification key for the mobile device; transmitting at least one key, including the generated key, to the mobile device; verifying whether or not a counterpart belongs to the same group as a leaving time of the counterpart, a public key of the counterpart, and a verification key of the counterpart; comparing the versions of group keys when the counterpart belongs to the same group, and allowing a device having a group key of a latest version to encrypt the group key of the latest version with a session key and to transmit the encrypted group key to a counterpart device; and allowing the counterpart device, which has received the group key, to decrypt the group key and to perform an update. The use of a group key enables a communication cost required for data transmission to be reduced, and, when a group key is updated, even mobile devices, which have not received the group key from a base station, can later receive the group key from the base station or another mobile device which belongs to the same group.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus and a method of establishing an interface between entities in a local network. A stand-alone local H(e)NB network has a structure in which one or more H(e)NBs are separated from one or more L-GWs in order to support mobility of a user equipment. The one or more H(e)NBs or the one or more L-GWs provide an information management device with information necessary for establishing an interface and receive information necessary for establishing the interface with a target entity as a response to the provision of the information. The one or more H(e)NBs or the one or more L-GWs establish the interface with the target entity based on the received information.
