Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method for operating a mobile device (100) during a screen block event associated with a touch screen (108) of the device (100). The method includes automatically configuring the device (100) in a screen block mode using a machine learning model, when the event is detected. The mode configures at least one sensor (114) associated with the device (100) to enable operation of the device (100) during the event. Further, the method includes receiving a first input on the at least one configured sensor (114). Further, the method includes identifying at least one application to be perform an action on the at least one application based on the first input. Further, the method includes receiving a second input on the at least one sensor (114). Further, the method includes performing the action on the at least one identified application based on the second input.
