Abstract: A battery for an electronic device is provided. The battery includes a battery cell including a cathode, an anode, and a separator located between the cathode and the anode; cathode tabs, each including a first area electrically connected to the cathode and an unstructured second area protruding from the first area to outside of the cathode; anode tabs, each including a third area electrically connected to the anode and an unstructured fourth area protruding from the third area to outside of the anode; a cathode terminal joined to the second areas of the cathode tabs; and an anode terminal joined to the fourth areas of the anode tabs. The first areas do not overlap each other when viewed from the top of the battery cell, and the second areas are coupled to each other. The third areas do not overlap each other when viewed from the top of the battery cell, and the fourth areas are coupled to each other.
