Abstract:
The invention consists of a method which comprises a plurality of steps for determining difference in distance from a reference point to at least two sensor modules 10, 20 that are located under water. The sensor modules 10, 20 comprise means for sending and receiving acoustic signals to each other and to a hydrophone 30 at the reference point. Connected to the hydrophone 30 is a calculating unit 40 that utilises arrival time of the received signals from the sensor modules to determine difference in distance from the sensor modules 10, 20 to the reference point.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filling ratio indicator for a trawl, Danish seine or a similar towable seine device with a net, comprising a main body arranged to be located on the surface of the net and with attachment devices for attachment to the net. The invention is characterised in that it comprises at least one angle sensor for measuring the angular position of the main body and thereby the angular position of an area of the net in the immediate vicinity of the sensor and a processing unit for providing, based on the said measurement, an indication of the filling ratio of the trawl, Danish seine or seine device. The invention also relates to a method and a system for providing an indication of the filling ratio of a seine device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a module (100) which is attached to a trawl, and which at least comprises measuring sensors (330) and a power supply unit. (320) The sensors are basically inactive, but can be activated as the need arises to measure different parameters. In an embodiment the module also includes a power-generating movement device connected to a charging device that can supply energy to the power supply unit. The module may also include communication means. In an alternative embodiment the module ma include a trawl door that can drag the drawl in a desired direction. Several modules may be combined to form a system that both measures different parameters and positions the trawl in order to achieve an optimal trawling process.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive device (10), an adjusting device with a drive device (10) and a trawl system, where an elongated adjusting element (11) is mounted round at least one turning point (12) and is connected to a drive unit (13) where the adjusting element (11) is mounted between at least one line (3) and a basic body (5) and where the drive unit (13) changes the adjusting element's (11) position relative to the basic body (5). The invention also relates to a method for controlling the opening of at least one trawl bag and a control system.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for monitoring the position of plate gear (30, 31) for fishing gear, comprising measuring at least one angle (ALPHA 30, ALPHA 31) for at least a part of the plate gear, and based on the measurement providing a position indication for the plate gear with regard to bottom contact. The invention also relates to an apparatus for performing the method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor module for fishing gear comprising a main body designed to be placed on the surface of the fishing gear and having fastening devices for attachment to the fishing gear. The sensor module is characterised in that it comprises at least one device for measuring the angular position of the main body, and thus the angular position of the fishing gear in the immediate vicinity of the module.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises an attachment device arranged for attaching a sensor module (1) to fishing gear, where the sensor module (1) comprises a lug (2). The invention is characterised in that the device comprises an elongated element (3) arranged for insertion through the lug (2) and for placement against the lug on a first side (8) of said lug (2), with the ends (4) of the elongated element (3) resting against the lug (2) on said first side (8) of the lug (2), a rope (5) fastened to the elongated element (3) and arranged for placement on a second side (7) of the lug (2), which rope (5) is detachably secured to the lug (2) by means of the elongated member (3), wherein the rope (5) is arranged for connection to the fishing gear.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of monitoring the position of guiding modules for fishing gear with regard to bottom contact, comprising taking measurements of a first angle for the guiding module, calculating average and standard deviation for the angle measurements, based on the average and standard deviation, providing a position indication for the guiding module with regard to bottom contact. The invention also relates to an apparatus for position monitoring.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an attachment device for attaching a sensor module to fishing gear, where the sensor module comprises at least two connecting bodies, and where the attachment device comprises: an elongated body with loops in the ends, a lockable ring connected to the loops at each end, at least two ring parts that can be interconnected at one end of the elongated body, an element for connecting to the sensor module's connecting body. The invention also relates to a sensor device equipped with such an attachment device and a method for providing a carrying part for a sensor device.
