Abstract: A conveying part and steering mechanism (10) for moving large loads in confined spaces is provided with a roller unit (12) on a chassis (14) which is connected to the one end (22) of a steering lever (20), the other end (24) of which serves to handle the conveying mechanism (10), and with an electric driving motor (26) and with a reduction gear (16) which is arranged in the region of the roller unit (12) and is connected drivably thereto. For better manoeuvrability, it is provided that the electric driving motor (26) is arranged and held at one point or region of the steering lever (20).
