A trolley, comprising a retractable wheel assembly (31, 32) movable between stored and in-use positions. The wheel assembly comprising an assembly support; at least one wheel arm (35) operably-connected to a wheel hub, in us the wheel hub receiving a wheel; at least one control arm (36, 37) operably-connected to the wheel hub, for affecting the orientation of the wheel hub with respect to the wheel arm as the retractable wheel assembly is moved between the stored position and the in-use position; and drive means (34) connected to the assembly support and operably connected to the at least one wheel arm and the at least one control arm, for providing rotation of the at least one wheel arm and at least one control arm about a common axis between the stored position and the in-use position.

A device (30) for lifting and moving a wheeled bin (31) conforming to BS EN 840- 1 :2004 Part 1 and including a pick-up feature (12) to enable it to be lifted by a comb-lifter, the device comprising: a frame (7) having an upper portion and a lower portion; the upper portion having engagement means (8) for releasably engaging with one or more features (12,13,23) on the bin (31) to enable the device to lift the bin; and the lower portion being provided with a pair of spaced-apart wheels (34) such that the frame (7) can be wheeled on the ground; a support member (20) on the frame (7) below the engagement means (8), for supporting part of a bin when carried by the device; and the device further comprising a motor (5) for driving the wheels (34) via a differential (17), and control means (6,26) for a user to control the operation of the motor (5); the arrangement being such that, when the engagement means (8) is engaged with a feature of the bin (31) and the wheels (34) of the device (30) are on the ground, driving the wheels forward by means of the motor (5) will initially provide a powered lifting force to raise the bin (31) onto the device (30) and then a force for transporting the bin.

The present invention relates to a device for automatically rocking a stroller, comprising: a) an electronic unit for operating the device by providing commands to move said stroller in a forward and/or a backward direction; b) a motion wheel adapted to rotate the wheel of the stroller by friction; c) a rotor mechanically connected to said motion wheel for rotating said motion wheel according to commands received from said electronic unit; d) a control wheel that includes a wheel portion adapted to be connected to the wheel of said stroller and a corresponding sensor board adapted to sense the rotational movement of said wheel portion and accordingly to provide to said electronic unit information regarding the actual rotational movement of said stroller's wheel; and e) a power source for powering said electronic unit.

A golf bag (10) includes a base (12) having a shaft (14). A pair of wheel assemblies (22) are attachable to, and removable from the shaft (14). Each wheel assembly (22) includes a wheel (26) and an axle (28) that fits within the shaft (14) such that each wheel (26) is extendable away from, and retractable towards, the base (12) along a common axis. In another embodiment, a golf bag (10) may be motorized.

An electrically powered golf trolley comprises a frame including an elongate body member (2) and a pair of opposed leg members (16) one end of each of which is mounted to the body member (2) and between the other ends of which is mounted a drive system including a pair of wheels (18) and a drive shaft (20), the trolley further comprising a battery (24) for powering the drive system, part at least of the frame being hollow, the battery being housed within the hollow interior of the frame.

Hand truck with a frame provided with a substantially vertical guide, two wheels which are situated near the bottom side of the guide and which are rotatable about a transverse shaft, a handle which is situated near the upper side of the guide, a lifting device comprising a lifting element which is displaceable along the guide and a lifting drive which is connected to the lifting element for displacing the lifting element, a motor for driving the wheels and a brake cooperating with the wheels for blocking the rotation of the wheels, in which a control device is provided which can be operated via the handle for switching the lifting drive and the motor on and off, characterized in that, in a lower driving position of the lifting element, the brake is released and, when the lifting element is moved from the lower driving position to a lifting position, the brake is engaged, in which case the wheels can be driven via the motor at a positioning speed.
