    Abstract: The invention relates to a disinfection lighting device (10) comprising a first light source (14), wherein the first light source (14) comprises a solid-state light source, wherein the solid-state light source comprises one or more light emitting diodes (14a, 14b), lasers and/ or superluminescent diodes; wherein the first light source (14) is configured to generate first light source light having a first spectral power distribution, wherein the first spectral power distribution comprises first light source light (140) in the UV wavelength range and/or visible wavelength range, a second light source (13), wherein the second light source (13) is configured to generate second light source light (130) having a second spectral power distribution different from the first spectral power distribution, wherein the second spectral power distribution comprise in the UV wavelength range, wherein the second light source (13) is arranged at a distance D from the first light source (14), the second light source (13) comprises a light input face (13b) configured in a light receiving relationship with the first light source (13), and the second light source (14) comprises a light exit face (13a), wherein the second light source (13) is transmissive for at least, a major, part of the first light source light (140); and wherein the disinfection lighting device (10) is configured to generate lighting device light comprising the second light source light (130) and the first light source light (140) emanating from the light exit face (13a), wherein the disinfection lighting device (10) comprises a light exit window (12), wherein the light exit face (13a) is the light exit window (12).

    Abstract: The invention relates to a luminaire (100) that can simultaneously be used for disinfection and for illumination. The luminaire (100) comprises a light engine (120) located in a housing, and an optical component (130) for receiving a light output of the light engine (120). The light engine (120) has a first light source (121) for emitting visible light and a second light source (122) for emitting ultraviolet radiation. The input side (131), the output side (132), and the wall structure (133) together delimit an interior volume of the optical component (130). The input side (131), the output side (132) and the interior volume of the optical component (130) are transmissive for visible light and for ultraviolet radiation. The wall structure (133) of the optical component (130) is transmissive for visible light and non-transmissive for ultraviolet radiation. The optical component (130) has a wall structure (133) separating an input side (131) and an output side (132). The input side (131), the output side (132) and an interior volume of the optical component (130) are transmissive for visible light and for ultraviolet radiation, while the wall structure (133) of the optical component (130) is transmissive for visible light and non-transmissive for ultraviolet radiation.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an illumination system comprising at least one illumination device as well such illumination device, both the system as the device capable of implementing a lighting functionality as well as an air treatment (disinfecting or purifying) functionality. According to a first aspect of the invention an illumination system composed of at least one illumination device is proposed, with the at least one illumination device comprising a support structure; at least one light emitting source coupled with the support structure for emitting visible light radiation; an ion generating source coupled with the support structure for at least generating ionized molecules in air; and at least one UV light emitting source coupled with the support structure for emitting UV light radiation in a wavelength range for depleting ozone generated by the ion generating source. Herewith such illumination system can effectively implemented in free accessible spaces, whilst implementing both a lighting functionality as well as an air treatment (disinfecting or purifying) functionality and in addition also guaranteeing a safe, ozone free environment for people accessing such public spaces.
