    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an interference screw having a body with a proximal end, distal end, and longitudinal axis extending between thereinbetween. The screw further includes threads for fixing the screw into bone. The screw further includes a through bore defined by the body. The through bore extends between the proximal and distal ends along the longitudinal axis, and has a surface. The screw further includes a controlling member (440) formed by the through bore surface. To install the screw into bone, a surgeon turns the screw with a driver that engages with the controlling member. The driver only engages the controlling member when it is in a driving orientation with respect to the controlling member. Advantageously, with this "one-way" engagement the surgeon can control and confirm the orientation of the driver without seeing the driver and/or screw.

    Abstract: A bone graft compaction pliers with removable inserts defines a bone graft harvesting and deployment system applicable to a wide variety of bone graft sized for use with bone anchors such as those employed in ACL repair. Cannulated bone anchors for encouraging bone regrowth employ an anchor with a axial cannulated bore and a plurality of fenestrations surrounding the bore to facilitate bone regrowth. A variety of sizes of single use inserts corresponding to a bone graft shape, or diameter, engage a single compaction pliers for forming various sized bone grafts from a single tool. A transparent transfer tube and corresponding base receives the formed bone graft for length adjustment, and engages protrusions on the recipient bone anchor for aligning the transfer tube to the anchor for disposing the bone graft into the cannulated bore of the anchor.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a medical instrument comprises a proximal end and a distal end. A shaft portion of the medical instrument extends between the proximal end and the distal end. The shaft portion includes a tubular guide through which an item such as a needle is passed. The medical instrument can further include a grasper disposed at the distal end of the shaft. During a surgical operation, the grasper facilitates grasping of tissue so that it does not move. The tubular guide facilitates passage of the needle through the grasped tissue.
