Abstract:
A method for sorting elements in hardware structures is disclosed. The method comprises selecting a plurality of elements to order from an unordered input queue (UIQ) within a predetermined range in response to finding a match between at least one most significant bit of the predetermined range and corresponding bits of a respective identifier associated with each of the plurality of elements. The method further comprises presenting each of the plurality of elements to a respective multiplexer. Further the method comprises generating a select signal for an enabled multiplexer in response to finding a match between at least one least significant bit of a respective identifier associated with each of the plurality of elements and a port number of the ordered queue. Finally, the method comprises forwarding a packet associated with a selected element identifier to a matching port number of the ordered queue from the enabled multiplexer.
Abstract:
Fast unaligned memory access. In accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention, a computing device includes a load queue memory structure configured to queue load operations and a store queue memory structure configured to queue store operations. The computing device includes also includes at least one bit configured to indicate the presence of an unaligned address component for an entry of said load queue memory structure, and at least one bit configured to indicate the presence of an unaligned address component for an entry of said store queue memory structure. The load queue memory may also include memory configured to indicate data forwarding of an unaligned address component from said store queue memory structure to said load queue memory structure.
Abstract:
The invention is directed at a torque-enabling tool holder comprising a frame having a handle portion and a drive tool receiving portion; a plurality of tools, each having an end housed within the drive tool receiving portion; and retaining means, located within the drive tool receiving portion for receiving the end of the plurality of tools; wherein when one of the tools is rotated from a storage position to an in use position, the handle portion is used as a handle to provide an easier method for enabling torque for the tool.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing cellulose nanospheres with spherical morphology (SNCs) from defibrillated MFCs of waste sugarcane bagasse pith fibers using high shear mechanical treatment and without using highly concentrated chemical reagents. These SNCs are a class of CNCs that possess uniform spherical morphology, larger specific surface area, high porosity and numerous free surface hydrophilic groups. These characteristics reportedly make SNCs a promising nanomaterial in application areas such as biomedicine, nanocomposites and drug delivery.
Abstract:
A conditionally precharged content addressable memory (CAM) includes forcing a mismatch on a matchline of the CAM if a data entry in the CAM is invalid. The matchline of the CAM is precharged only if the data entry is valid.
Abstract:
An EUV illumination system for use in a photolithographic apparatus is configured to condition a radiation beam. A hydrogen radical source configured to supply gas containing hydrogen or hydrogen radicals into the illumination system. The hydrogen gas is effective to remove carbonaceous contamination from the surface of a mirror in the illumination system or to form a buffer against unwanted gases. In order to prevent damage by hydrogen that penetrates the mirror, the mirror comprises a layer (30) made of metal non-metal compound adjacent a reflection surface (36) of the mirror. A transition metal carbide, nitride, boride or suicide compound or mixture thereof may be used for example.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides methods for generating retinal cell clusters for use in cellular component transfer therapy, retinal cell clusters generated by such methods, and compositions comprising such retinal cell clusters. The present disclosure also provides uses of the retinal cell clusters and compositions comprising thereof for preventing and/or treating inherited retinal degenerative diseases.
