Abstract: The present technology relates to a sprocket wheel assembly for a polymeric track system is disclosed. The sprocket wheel assembly includes a sprocket wheel body and a sprocket wheel removable part. The sprocket wheel body includes a hub portion, an intermediate portion and a rim portion. The intermediate portion extends radially from the hub portion. The rim portion, which is connected to the intermediate portion, has a plurality of engaging members and a connecting section. The rim portion defines a cavity that is generally aligned with the connecting section. The sprocket wheel removable part is at least partially receivable in the cavity, and is selectively connectable to the sprocket wheel body at the connecting section. A polymeric track system for a vehicle, a vehicle and a method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A track for a track system has a ground-facing side and a wheel-facing side including lugs having a base and defining a wheel path on which wheels of a track engaging assembly rolls on, the wheel path having first and second track side portions, and an intermediate track portion. When the wheel supports a load smaller than a nominal load, a distance between the base and the ground-facing side is smaller than a distance between the intermediate track portion and the ground-facing side. When the wheel supports a load equal or greater than the nominal load, a distance between the base and the ground-facing side is substantially equal to or smaller than a distance between the intermediate track portion and the ground-facing side. A wheel for a track system is also described. A track system comprising a wheel and a track is also described.

Abstract: A segmented track made of a plurality of elastomeric track segments is disclosed. Each track segment is made of reinforced elastomeric material and is provided, at each end thereof, with a joint element adapted to be connected to the joint element of adjacent track segments. Each track segment generally comprises alternating series of substantially rigid sections and substantially flexible sections. The joint elements of the track segments are substantially located within rigid sections located at the extremities of the track segments. The segment track also comprises inner and outer plates configured to secure the joint elements of adjacent track segments together.
