Abstract:
Automatic automated installation for processing parts, designed in particular for the engineering industry where processing modules are being used, for example preheating modules, thermochemical processing modules and hardening modules. Said installation is used in heating, temperature-holding and controlled-cooling processes in order to preserve or improve surface condition, dimensional stability and metallurgical structure as well as the mechanical properties of the processed parts.

Oven with movable beams wherein the movable beams (2) form at least two successive assemblies (1a and 1b) which are mechanically independent from each other and which may be displaced each by means of a hydraulic jack (4a or 4b) connected to a utilization pump (7a or 7b), characterized in that one (1a) of the assemblies of beams comprises a retractable stop (21) which may come in contact with the other assembly (1b) so that each of the assemblies may push the other one, and in that the supply means for the jacks comprise distributors (13a, 13b, 14a and 15b) enabling to set up a circuit comprising in series one (7a) of the supply pumps, the control jack (4b) for one of the assemblies, the control jack (4a) of the other assembly, and a non-return valve (11a or 11b).

Roller for the handling and conveying of metallurgical products inside a heat treating furnace, characterized in that it is comprised of a cooled tube, preferably a water-cooled tube (12) having a plurality of circular disks (14) perpendicular to the axis of said tube, each of the disks being provided with a tread (16) in contact with the product moving inside the furnace, the disks being separated by a refractory insulator (18).
