Abstract: A combination of an applicator and a screen protector for a mobile device with a screen. The screen protector (2) comprises a screen protecting film (3) with an adhesive on a first face, a peelable first release layer (4) covering the adhesive and a second release layer (5) releasably attached to the opposite face of the screen protecting film. The applicator comprises a frame (1) arranged to engage with the four sides of the mobile device, so as to align the screen protector with respect of the device. The second release layer (5) is releasably attached to the frame at a plurality of discrete locations (8) on opposing sides of the frame such that, when the frame is placed, over the mobile device, the screen protecting film is supported above the screen with the first face facing the screen. The attachment at the plurality of locations between the second release layer and the frame is arranged to be released by pressure on the second release layer in a direction tending to urge the screen protecting film towards the screen.

Abstract: A case for a mobile electronic device comprising a housing, the housing having a rear face (4) adjacent to which a rechargeable battery (3) is housed. Upstanding side walls (5) extend away from all sides of the rear face to define a cavity for the phone. An opening in the front face of the housing surrounds the side walls. The battery is electronically coupled to an inductive charging coil (12) which is accessible for charging an inductively chargeable device at the rear face on the side opposite to the cavity.

Abstract: A case for a mobile device with a screen, the case comprising a band arranged to surround the edge of the device. The band comprises a layer of flexible polymer (1) and a layer of a damping material (3) which is softer than the flexible polymer provided within the flexible polymer layer. The damping material (3) has a plurality of protrusions (2) projecting inwardly from a substantial portion of the inner periphery of the band to engage with the device. The protrusions are arranged such that, in normal use there is substantially no contact between the band and the device other than through the protrusions.

Abstract: An applicator for aligning a screen protector on a portable electronic device with a screen, four edges and a rear face opposite to the screen. The applicator comprises a body with an engagement member and an alignment feature. The engagement member is arranged for edgewise engagement with no more than three of the four edges of the device to align the applicator with the device by movement in a direction generally parallel to the plane of the screen such that the alignment feature covers a portion of the face of the device comprising the screen which is not covered by the screen protector allowing an edge of the screen protector to be located with respect to the alignment feature.
