Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and an apparatus for providing configuration for serving terminal device. A first aspect of the present disclosure provides a method performed by a first network function. The method may comprise: transmitting (S201) to a second network function a request for providing at least one service parameter for a UE or a group of UEs, and receiving (S202) from the second network function a response about whether the request is authorized. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, after a first network function transmits a request for providing at least one service parameter for a terminal device, the first network function may be aware about whether the request is authorized.
