Abstract:
A membrane for sealing an open spout of a food package is provided. The membrane comprises a central circular disc member (202), an outer annular disc member (204) connected to said central circular disc member (202) along its inner periphery at a connection angle (α), and a resilient tubular portion (208) extending between a first open end (210) and a second end (212) being connected to the outer annular disc member (204), the diameter of said second end (212) being smaller than the outer diameter of said annular disc member (204), wherein the annular disc member (204) is pivotable relative the central circular disc member (202) for increasing the diameter of the second end (210) of said tubular portion (208) by changing said connection angle (α).
Abstract:
An opening device comprising a removable membrane (11) connected to a pulling device (12). The pulling device (12) is connected to the membrane (11) at its opposed ends (13, 14) so as to define a pull ring. Weakening arrangements (15, 16) are provided at said opposed ends to initiate the tearing off of the membrane.
Abstract:
A membrane (200) for sealing an open spout of a food package, comprising a central circular disc member (202), an outer annular disc member (204) connected to the central circular disc member, a resilient tubular portion (208) extending between a first open end (210) and a second end (212) being connected to the outer annular disc member, and wherein the first open end comprises an angled surface (216) for sliding the membrane on the open spout when sealing and/or resealing.
Abstract:
A spout (100) forming part of a neck (20) of a package (10) is provided. The spout (100) comprises a membrane (150), and a tubular member (110) having a main body (112) and an end portion (114) extending axially from the main body (112), the tubular member (110) being releasably attached to said membrane (150). The end portion (114) is arranged radially inwards of the main body (112).
Abstract:
A carton bottle comprises a sleeve-shaped main body (1) of a carton material and a plastic top (2) injection-molded thereon, the main body being formed of a longitudinally heat-sealed, sleeve-shaped blank (4). In a method at the manufacture of such a carton bottle for improving the plastic molding conditions at the junction between the main body (1) and the top (2), a scrap piece (7) of blank material is removed in the junction area, so that a nominal width (8) of the blank (4) in the junction area is accomplished irrespective of the greater real width thereof.
Abstract:
A method, in a packing and filling machine, of manufacturing a packaging container from a packaging laminate sleeve (10) with at least one inner layer of thermoplastic, the packaging container, in addition to the packaging laminate sleeve, including a shoulder portion connected to the packaging laminate sleeve and a neck portion connected to the shoulder portion, with associated pouring aperture, comprising the steps of: - disposing the packaging laminate sleeve (10) in association with an inner moulding tool, - disposing an outer moulding tool outside the inner moulding tool for forming a cavity between the moulding tools, the cavity having a volume exceeding the volume of the packaging part which is to be injection moulded, - injecting at least one melt of a first material into the cavity, and characterised by the steps of: - disposing the neck portion of the packaging container between said inner and outer moulding tools, in contact with the cavity, - compressing the moulding tools until the melt fills out the cavity and fuses together with the neck and a portion of the inner layer of thermoplastic located at the end of the packaging laminate sleeve, - opening the moulding tools and displacing the packaging container further to additional processing.
