The present invention relates to a closure for a container, comprising, a tab (3) attached by rivet means (4) to a closure part (2) to be displaced for forming an opening in the closure, which opening is at least partly defined by a score line (8) formed in the closure, the tab comprises a tab body connected to the rivet means, a tab rear part for finger gripping, and a tab front part of which a tab nose is located near or at the score line; a closure opening procedure comprises finger gripping the tab rear part, lifting the tab rear part thereby pressing the tab nose against the closure on or near the score line, popping the score line, and scoring the score line thereby forming an opening in the closure; wherein score line parts (8.2) are separated by a score line part (8.1) to be popped by the tab nose, which score line parts are stronger than the popping score line part, and wherein stiffening means stiffening closure parts are neighboring the stronger score line parts; and to a container provided with such closure.

The present application provides a container for storage, preservation, identification, tracking and transport of a federally controlled substance comprising (10): (a) a one or more piece airtight container having an exterior surface and an interior surface, an upper portion and a lower portion (16Α), configured for containing a federally controlled substance; (b) an inner coating liner lining said interior surface of said airtight container; (c) a one piece tamper resistant easy open lid (30) affixed to said upper portion of said airtight container; and (d) identifying indicia (26) located on the exterior surface for identifying the contained federally controlled substance contents within said container; wherein said airtight container configured for containing a federally controlled substance (10), has the atmosphere evacuated (158) and the container filled with an inert gas before the airtight container is hermetically sealed, containing and preserving a federally controlled substance inside.

본 발명은 캔뚜껑 개봉 시 안전사고를 방지하기 위해 상기 캔뚜껑에 덮어 사용하는 캔 안전 덮개에 관한 것으로서, 상기 캔뚜껑의 표면을 덮는 평판의 덮개부와, 상기 덮개부의 테두리를 따라 축방향으로 돌출 형성되어 상기 캔뚜껑의 테두리를 따라 축방향으로 형성되는 돌출 림부가 끼워지는 돌출 홈부와, 상기 덮개부에 형성되어 상기 캔뚜껑의 표면에 부착되는 캔고리가 외부에 노출되도록 하는 개구를 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 캔 안전 덮개를 캔뚜껑에 덮은 상태에서 캔고리를 조작하여 상기 캔뚜껑을 개봉할 수 있으며, 이 과정에서 사용자의 손이 상기 캔뚜껑의 절개된 테두리나 캔 본체의 절개선에 직접 접촉하는 것을 차단함으로써 안전사고의 발생을 방지할 수 있다.

An easy open closure (10) for food or beverage containers and comprising a centre panel (27) surrounded by a circumferential score (16) and an outer seaming panel (17). The closure further comprises a tab (11), the tab being fixed to the centre panel by a rivet (12) formed in the centre panel (27) such that lifting of a radially inner region of the tab (11) forces a nose portion (24) of the tab into contact with a region of the centre panel adjacent to a radially inner edge of the circumferential score (16), thereby causing the score to fracture. A bead (19) is formed in and extending circumferentially around the centre panel inside and adjacent to the circumferential score (16) and at a radius outside of the rivet (12), the bead deviating inwardly from its circumferential path as it approaches the region in which the rivet (12) is formed, and the bead terminating adjacent to and on either side of the rivet.

Die erfindungsgemäße Deckelanordnung (12) für einen Behälter (10), insbesondere für eine Getränkedose (10), umfasst einen Deckel (20) und eine Bedienvorrichtung (30). Die Bedienvorrichtung (30) ist um eine erste Achse (A) drehbar und um eine zweite Achse (B) schwenkbar an dem Deckel (20) angeordnet. Durch Schwenken der Bedienvorrichtung (30) um die zweite Achse (B) ist wenigstens eine Druckausgleichsöffnung (21) in dem Deckel (20) ausbildbar, um einen Druck in einem Inneren des Behälters (10) an einen Umgebungsdruck anzugleichen. Durch Drehen der Bedienvorrichtung (30) um die erste Achse (A) ist eine Öffnung (22) in dem Deckel (20) ausbildbar. The invention relates to a lid (2) for a container (1), where the lid is made from a thin plate -shaped material and adapted to be mounted on and hermetically close the container (1). Moreover, the lid comprises score lines (3) where the thin material can be torn to form a discharge opening (12) in the lid, where the starting points (4) for tearing the score lines are located at the brim (5) of the lid. The lid further comprises an area bulging out from the brim between the score lines to form a gripping device (6) and the lid is made from metal.

A method of storing harvesting produce in a storage solution and a packaged beverage produced utilising the method are disclosed. The harvest produce may be whole fruit or diced root vegetables. The storage solution is characterised in that a neutral water potential is established when the harvested produce is immersed in the solution. The packaged beverage is characterised in that the container provides both first and second releasable seals that permit the solution to be drunk and the harvested produce to be eaten.

The present invention concerns a full aperture beverage end (14) having a centre panel (30), a countersink (22) surrounding the centre panel (30), a main score (50) arranged in proximity to the countersink (22) to define a removeable aperture panel (54) and a vent score (46). The beverage end (14) is adapted for use with products that are pressurised to over 30 psi (207 kPa) when opened, and during opening the vent score (46) is adapted to sever first, controlling the pressure differential between the external surface and internal surface of the centre panel (30), thereby allowing the main score (50) to tear in a controlled and reliable manner.
