Abstract: The present invention relates to diagnostic systems in motor vehicles. Accordingly, the present invention discloses a motor vehicle having a diagnostic port (200) mounted on a vehicle component, the diagnostic port (200) being directly accessible by a user to obtain status of various vehicle sub-systems. In an embodiment of the invention, the vehicle component comprises a utility box (38) disposed below a seat (32), whereby the diagnostic port (200) mounted inside the utility box (38) and accessible by opening the seat (32). In further embodiments of the invention, the vehicle component is either a glove box or a handlebar or a floorboard.

Abstract: A relay assembly (104) connecting a power source (101) to an electronic component (102) in a high voltage system (100). The relay assembly (104) comprises a first relay unit (105), a second relay unit (106) positioned perpendicular to the first relay unit (105), and a relay mounting bracket (204) with at least one locator (404 and 405) for positioning the first relay unit (105) and the second relay unit (106) proximal to the electronic component (102) using a locking pin (501). The first relay unit (105) and the second relay unit (106) are electrically connected in parallel. The relay assembly (104) can be mounted in proximity to the electronic component for easy manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability of the high voltage system (100).

Abstract: The present subject matter provides an auto diagnostic security alarm system in a saddle type vehicle (100). The present subject matter specifically provides a system which prevent an unauthorized user access of the vehicle. It further provides an ignition lock module (201) and a wiring harness module (201A) which are electrically connected to each other by a pair of connectors (202,203). The present subject matter utilizes one or more existing loads already provided in the vehicle such as horn (206) and a turn signal lamp (226) and utilizing the same for the alert and indication system when any unauthorized person tried to access the vehicle. The present subject matter reduces the additional cost and installation space by utilizing the existing parts of the vehicle.
