Abstract: The present subject matter relates generally to an accelerator position sensor (APS) unit 204 mounted on a head pipe 215 attached to a frame of a two-wheeled vehicle. The mounting of APS unit 204 reduces the length of a throttle cable 202. The APS unit 204 is placed in an offset region of the head pipe 215. This placement of the APS unit 204 results in better efficiency of the APS unit 204. The reduction of the length of the throttle cable 202 decreases the lag, loses and friction resulting in increase of efficiency and performance of the two-wheeled vehicle.

Abstract: The present subject matter relates generally to provide a mounting location for a charger unit (112) in a two-wheeled vehicle (100). The two wheeled vehicle (100) includes a frame having a front portion (F) and a rear portion (R). The charger unit (112) is placed at the rear most portion (R) of the frame between the right (110)(a) and the left (110)(b) rear frame. The charger unit (112) is placed in an inclined position so that it does not disturb the utility space of a utility box (117) and the clearance of a rear wheel (107). Placing the charger unit (112) in an inclined position, between the horizontal and vertical plane, makes the packaging and mounting of the charger unit (112) with less number of parts possible in available space and in the existing layout without moving its neighbouring parts.

Abstract: An anti-theft device for a two-wheeled vehicle (100) is described. The anti-theft device includes a main lock (120), a first locking mechanism (202), and a second locking mechanism (204). The main lock (120) further includes a cam (314) that can be rotated by a key (302) in a first direction (304) or a second direction (306). When rotated in the first direction (304), the cam (314) actuates the first locking mechanism (202). Similarly, when rotated in the second direction (306), the cam (314) actuates the second locking mechanism (204). The first locking mechanism (202), on actuation unlocks a rider seat (114) of said two-wheeled vehicle (100). On the other hand the second locking mechanism (204) on actuation locks a centre stand (118) of said two-wheeled vehicle (100).
