Abstract:
Work treating apparatus provided with an injection unit adapted to inject pressurized steam jets evenly to a surface of the work without dropping a temperature of pressurized steam jets is provided. Work treating apparatus 10, comprises a conveyor 12 and an injection unit 14 serving to inject superheated and pressurized steam jets to the work 11, wherein the injection unit 14 has a lower surface 32 provided with a plurality of injection orifices 31, the conveyor 12 is flexible and comprises a first mesh belt 12a and a second mesh belt 12b wherein the first and second mesh belts 12a, 12b cooperate with each other to sandwich the work 11 there between and to convey the work 11 in the machine direction MD, and the lower surface 32 comes in slid able contact with the first mesh belt 12a to curve at least the first mesh belt 12a downward.
Abstract:
A nonwoven fabric comprising extendable fiber and elastic fiber, wherein the nonwoven fabric comprises a first side having a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses and a second side on the side opposite the first side, the proportion of extendable fiber in the protrusions on the first side is higher than the proportion of extendable fiber in the recesses on the first side, and the nonwoven fabric is coated with a hydrophilic agent, or the extendable fiber and elastic fiber comprise a hydrophilic agent, the nonwoven fabric has a water absorbing property represented by a water absorption height of at least 10 mm in a water absorption test, and a quick-drying property represented by a transpiration rate of at least 20 mass% in a transpiration test.
Abstract:
Laminated product treating apparatus improved to prevent falling off core material from the laminated product in the course of treating the laminated product containing the core material with steam. First and second mesh belts 60, 70 respectively have a plurality of first and second openings 63, 73 and first and second closed regions 64, 74 each defined between each pair of the adjacent openings 63, 73. In the course of being fed and transported, the first mesh belt 60 and the second mesh belt 70 are relatively positioned so that the first openings 63 are more or less out of alignment with the second openings 73, i.e., the second closed region 74 overlap the first openings 63 and thereby the second closed region 74 partially closes the first openings 63.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a layered nonwoven fabric with excellent feel on the skin and liquid permeability, and a method for producing the layered nonwoven fabric. The layered nonwoven fabric of the present invention is as follows. A layered nonwoven fabric (1) comprising an upper layer (2) consisting of a first nonwoven fabric and a lower layer (3) consisting of a second nonwoven fabric, wherein the layered nonwoven fabric (1) has a first surface (4) on the first nonwoven fabric side with a plurality of protrusions (5) and recesses (6) and a second surface (7) on the second nonwoven fabric side, the protrusions (5) on the first surface (4) have a higher basis weight than the recesses (6) on the first surface (4), and the protrusions (5) on the first surface (4) have a lower fiber density than the recesses (6) on the first surface (4).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a steam injection mechanism improved so that water accumulation on an object to be processed can be reliably restricted. A steam injection mechanism 3 comprises a common channel 31 through which steam supplied from a steam supply source flows and distribution channels 32 branched from the common channel 31 to distribute the steam from the common channel 31 wherein the steam is injected from steam injection orifices 32d formed in distal ends of the distribution channels 32 to an object 100 (a fibrous nonwoven fabric) to be processed. When the steam injection mechanism 3 is located above the fibrous nonwoven fabric, the lowermost region 31d of the common channel 31 functions as a condensed water collecting region and, when the steam injection mechanism 3 is located under the fibrous nonwoven fabric, the uppermost region 31u of the common channel 31 functions as the condensed water collecting region.
