    Abstract: A restraint system 18 for a ride vehicle 14 includes a rigid restraint 34 configured to extend across a passenger to secure the passenger within a seat 30 of the ride vehicle 14 and a soft restraint 36 coupled to the rigid restraint 34. The soft restraint 36 includes a pliable material configured to conform to a substantial portion of a torso of the passenger and a haptic feedback system 32 integrated with the soft restraint 36. The haptic feedback system 32 is configured to generate vibrational forces and impart the vibrational forces to the torso of the passenger.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, an interactive wearable device system (100) includes a display (110) configured to face outwardly from a wearer of the interactive wearable device system (100). The interactive wearable device system (100) also includes a location identification system configured to determine user location data related to the wearer and a separate individual. An automation controller (108) is communicatively coupled to the display (110) and the location identification system. The automation controller (108) is configured to receive the user location data provided by the location identification system. The automation controller (108) is also configured to determine the user location data satisfies at least one criteria and instruct the display (110) to display an image based on the location data satisfying the at least one criteria.

    Abstract: Headgear includes one or more sensors that provide input information to a controller of the headgear. The sensors may include accelerometers, location sensors, wireless receivers, cameras, and so on. The controller may receive the input information that is indicative of an orientation of the headgear, a location of the headgear, a communication signal, and/or an image or video. The headgear may also include one or more output devices that may be controlled by the controller ( e.g ., actuators, electronic displays, lights, speakers, and/or communication interfaces). As such, the headgear may output instructions to actuate an actuator, display an image on an electronic display, activate a light, emit a sound using a speaker, and/or send a communication signal using a communication interface. In particular, the headgear may determine an instruction to send to an output device in response to receiving the input information, and send the instruction to the output device.

    Abstract: An amusement park ride system including a ride vehicle (12), a ride control system (30) that may track a location of the ride vehicle (12) on a ride path (14) and a haptic feedback system (40) having a screen (58) having a surface modifying component (78). The surface modifying component (78) may be positioned on the ride vehicle (12). The haptic feedback system (40) also includes a control system (30) having a memory (62) and a processor (60). The memory (62) stores instructions that, when executed by the processor (60), may cause the haptic feedback system (40) to convert data from the ride control system (50) into tactile information representative of scenery surrounding the ride vehicle (12) based on stored scenery data that is correlated to the location.
