Abstract: The present invention relates to a connection member for a tent pole and to a jig for attaching/detaching the connection member. The connection member for a tent pole according to the present invention interconnects unit poles, both ends of which have insertion holes, wherein the connection member comprises: a pair of insert members to be press-fitted into the insertion holes formed in the ends of the pair of unit poles arranged adjacently to one another; a connection tube, the center of which has a through-hole, and which is interposed between the insert members such that both ends of the connection tube are inserted into the respective insertion holes of the unit pole; and a resilient string which is inserted into the through-hole of the connection tube such that both ends of the resilient string are fixed at the respective insert members to provide resilient force for enabling the ends of the pair of unit poles arranged adjacently to one another to be brought into contact with one another.
