Abstract:
An inflatable float tank for providing a therapeutic sensory deprivation session. The inflatable float tank includes opaque inflatable sidewalls including a drop-stitch material. The drop stitch material includes opposing walls with stitched threads extending at acute angles from one another. When uninflated these internal stitch structures are allowed to collapse and provide substantially foldable and pliable deflated sidewalls as opposed to substantially rigid sidewalls upon inflation. The inflatable float tank is filled with float solution including water and Epsom salt heated to skin temperature so as to provide a highly buoyant float environment with a lack of sensory stimulation. The inflatable float tank exhibiting improved insulation within the tank and ease of assembly. The inflatable float tank and assembly thereof doesn't require rigid support structures such as poles and joints. And, the inflatable float tank is substantially foldable in an uninflated state and is substantially rigid in an inflated state.
Abstract:
A tent or shelter (100) includes a fabric (200) forming a structure for the tent or shelter. The tent or shelter (100) includes a valve assembly having a port (204), a flap (206), and a closing mechanism (208). The port (204) is disposed through the fabric (200) and permeable to airflow. The flap (206) can be attached to the fabric (200) and adjacent the port (204). The closing mechanism (208) can bias the flap (206) toward a closed position in which the flap (206) blocks airflow through the port (204).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A magnetic sealing closure, comprising: a. a first flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; b. a second flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; wherein said sealing closure comprises membranes connectable to said first strip, and a second membrane connectable to said second strip, such that said plurality of magnetic elements of said second strip are embedded within said plurality of cavities between said second strip and said second membrane; when said first and second strips and are brought together from the side of said first and second membranes, magnetic elements of said first and said second strips magnetically attract each other, such that a sealing is provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a connection member for a tent pole and to a jig for attaching/detaching the connection member. The connection member for a tent pole according to the present invention interconnects unit poles, both ends of which have insertion holes, wherein the connection member comprises: a pair of insert members to be press-fitted into the insertion holes formed in the ends of the pair of unit poles arranged adjacently to one another; a connection tube, the center of which has a through-hole, and which is interposed between the insert members such that both ends of the connection tube are inserted into the respective insertion holes of the unit pole; and a resilient string which is inserted into the through-hole of the connection tube such that both ends of the resilient string are fixed at the respective insert members to provide resilient force for enabling the ends of the pair of unit poles arranged adjacently to one another to be brought into contact with one another.
Abstract:
A portable shelter includes a frame assembly and a canopy that is supported by the frame assembly. The canopy includes a transparent skylight. The canopy includes a plurality of walls, a first roof portion, and a second roof portion. The first and second roof portions are joined together at an apex of the shelter and slope generally downward from the apex. The apex has a longitudinal length defined between at least two opposing ones of the plurality of walls.
Abstract:
Provided is a cloth length controller for a height adjusting tent which includes a plurality of upper connecting poles, a plurality of lower support poles, a tent canvas and the cloth length controller and which can always stand straight up even when set up on an inclined surface. The cloth length controller includes: a plurality of connecting units extending from the tent canvas and coupled to each of the lower support poles; an elastic unit formed in at least one of the connecting units or in a fixing unit which is formed at each lower corner of the tent canvas; and a connecting medium formed at an end of the elastic unit and connecting at least one of the connecting units to the fixing unit, which is formed at each lower corner of the tent canvas, when lengths of the lower support poles are reduced, wherein the upper connecting poles can spread out in all directions, the lower support poles are coupled to the upper connecting poles, re¬ spectively, stand on a ground surface and are length- variable, the tent canvas is coupled to the upper connecting poles and the lower support poles, and the cloth length controller is coupled to each of the lower support poles which are length- variable. Therefore, when the length of the tent canvas is reduced, the fixing unit can be easily coupled to one of the connecting units of the tent canvas by the connecting medium, thereby keeping the tent canvas stretched tight and preventing the formation of creases or bits of fluff in the tent canvas.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The rail skirt system includes a top rail, a skirt that hangs from the top rail, formed from rail bar members connected together at their inner ends by a middle connector tube connectable to a locking support leg, to provide support for the top rail on a side of a shelter. The outer ends of the rail bar members are connected to legs of the shelter by fixed corner connecting brackets.
