Abstract: A patient worn sensor assembly for detecting, recording, and communicating patient vital signs can be integrated into a garment to be worn by the patient. A lead assembly can be integrated into a garment to connect electrodes in contact with the skin of a patient to a sensor assembly that collects vital sign information from the electrodes. The lead assembly can be multi-layered and can include, for example, two outer anti-static satin fabric layers as top and bottom layers, muslin fabric insulator layers adjacent to the anti-static satin fabric layers, shield layers that include muslin with silver fabric adjacent to the insulator layers, and an inner layer of fabric with conductive thread (or alternatively conductive thread not integrated with other fabrics, or a layer that is substantially composed of conductive thread).

Abstract: Wrapping means, in particular for medical, relaxation, cosmetic and rehabilitation purposes, including possible applications in the field of veterinary care alone or as part of a wrap for animals, comprises at least three layers (1,2,3), wherein each layer has predetermined function, the wrapping means can be used alone or as a part of the clothing, footwear, clothing complement or a part of a wrap for animals. The top layer (1) for heating is formed of thicker soft material, the bottom layer (2) designed to contact with the body is formed of a thin absorbent material allowing to retain a suitable amount of the active and / or curative substance in contact with the skin, and between the bottom layer (2) and top layer (1) is placed at least one layer (3) with insulating element for preventing or reducing leakage of fluid to the top layer (1) and for creating a suitable environment between the body skin and the top layer (1).

Abstract: An item of clothing is adapted to be worn against the skin, and comprises at least one panel adapted to provide targeted compression of at least 20% of the total length of a specific surface vein in the body, or adapted to provide targeted compression of at least 20% of a specific plexus of veins, a specific lymphatic plexus, drainage plexus or a collection of lymphatic vessels. The clothing is useful in a method of reducing recovery time in a human or other mammal, after a period of activity and in a method of enhancing performance, in particular sports performance, in a human or other mammal. It may also improve the conditioning of the skin and aid lymphatic drainage, and can be used in the treatment of certain medical conditions.

Abstract: A medical treatment garment, of use in treatment of skin conditions such as dermation, eczema or inflammation, comprises an inner layer (20) and an outer layer (21) which are formed together e.g. by knitting and joined by a seam (22). The inner layer (20) is made from yarns etc of a relatively water absorbency, such as cotton or viscose yarns or fibres and the outer layer (21) is made from yarns with a low water absorbency e.g. synthetic yarns such as polyester or polyamide. The garments may be made up from tubular knitted double fabric into tops and trousers, for example.

Abstract: This invention relates to a patient garment comprising a front piece (1) and a back piece (2). According to the invention the front piece (1) is wholly or partially made up of an outer layer (3) of a material with little air permeability and an inner layer (4) of a material with a significantly higher air permeability than the outer layer, which extends over at least part of the outer layer (3) and is attached to the latter in such a way that a space is formed between the outer and inner layer. Furthermore, at least one inlet (8,9) connectable to a source of warm air is located on the front piece of the garment and leads to the space between the inner and outer layer.
