Abstract:
Disclosed are panty briefs, primarily intended for the fixation of a diaper. Interknitted in the waist portion (5) of the briefs are elastic threads (11, 11') generally extending in the circumferential direction of the waist portion. These elastic threads produce an elastic contraction in the circumferential direction of the briefs in order to establish a tight fit depending on the size of the wearer. In order to obtain the best possible fit for large and small wearers, the elastic threads (11) only form meshes with the base web of the briefs along a portion of the extension of these threads (11) in the circumferential direction of the briefs. This causes the waist portion of the briefs to appear with undulations allowing improved adaptation to large and small wearers without the risk of irritating local pressures.
Abstract:
A medical examination garment (10) has a trunk (11) and a right and left leg (19, 20) extending from the trunk. The trunk, right leg and left leg each have a front portion (17) and a rear portion (18). The garment has an opening (23) therein which extends into the front and rear portions. The garment also has a front flap (24) for covering and uncovering a front portion (25) of the opening, and a rear flap (30) for covering and uncovering a rear portion (31) of the opening. Velcro3 strips (28, 29) are provided for securing the front flap to the trunk. Additional Velcro3 strips (33, 34) are provided for securing the rear flap and rear flaps to each other.
Abstract:
The hospital gown (1) of the present invention provides easily reclosable fastening means (5 and 12) extending from the neck opening to the end of the sleeve or arm opening (11) along the upper margin (13 and 14) of the shoulder which fastening means (12) may be quickly and easily opened and reclosed in order to permit changing of the gown (1) or of medical equipment attached to the patient. The fastening means (5 and 12) are composed of heat resistant hooks and loops.
Abstract:
A garment (10) for holding a disposable absorbent article (21) comprising a front section (11); a rear section (12); a crotch section (13) disposed between the front section (11) and the rear section (12); and a pair of elasticised pressure zones (15) to create at least one pocket (16) in the front section (12); the pocket (16) being located inboard of the elasticised leg openings (14).
Abstract:
A medical examination garment (10) has a trunk (11) which has front and rear portions (18, 28), and a waist region (12) where an elastic waist-band (15) is located and crotch (16). The trunk front portion (18) has a rectangular opening (17) intermediate the crotch (16) and the waist region (12). A front closure (21) with fasteners (23, 24, 25, 26) is provided for covering, partially uncovering, and uncovering the front opening. The trunk rear portion (28) has a rectangular opening (29) intermediate the crotch (16) and the waist region (12) rear closure (33) is provided for selectively covering and uncovering all or a portion of a rear opening (29). The rear closure comprises flaps (34, 35) pivoted about folds (36, 37) which are oriented perpendicularly to the waistband. Fasteners (41, 42, 43, 44) are provided for securing the flaps (34, 35) in an opened position uncovering the rear opening (29).
Abstract:
Pants, particularly pilch, formed of a rectangular piece (40) of flexible material and comprising two elongated elements extending along the longitudinal edges of the piece, provided with elastics (45) which are in stretched conditions and are integral by their ends with the longitudinal ends of the piece (40) in order to form two elastic belt elements for the slip-shaped pilch.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the emplacement of a water-insoluble, polymeric scent-emitting tablet (24) in a fabric chamber (22) formed by a medallion (20) stitched (21) to the surface of women's intimate apparel (10) to provide a long-lasting fragrance despite repeated laundering.
Abstract:
In an undergarment known as or referred to as panties, briefs, or underwear, it is known to be usually worn underneath clothing for hygiene purposes. In a swimsuit or swim wear it is known to usually be worn for water and outdoor activities or anytime as the person deems it necessary as an outer garment. In this invention, we have woven into or laminated to the fabric, (all types of fabrics or nonwoven material) a laminate or substance which is leak proof, and breathable. This invention is designed with feminine care in mind, especially during the female menstrual cycle. It can also be used at any time by a person female or male who feel the need to wear a protective leak proof, breathable garment. All females have various menstrual cycles and flow at various rates and during the heavier flowing days, it is very stressful worrying if you are going to leak through the feminine menstrual product to your outer clothing. Females have to dress accordingly, i.e. wearing dark clothing, long shirts, or long sweaters, etc. in the event of seepage through to their outer garments; to help minimize the embarrassing situation. During sleeping it is almost impossible to prevent leakage onto garments and bedding. By wearing this ultimate wear called Finally (a leak proof breathable under garment or swim wear) it will prevent leakage, and it is breathable thereby allowing continued comfort.
Abstract:
A method of making an undergarment (1) having side seams (7, 9) from a two-dimensional preform comprises the steps of cutting a cotinuous web (50) along transverse cut lines (76, 76') to form individual preforms (17), cutting each preform (17) along a leg contour (55, 56) extending along each longitudinal side (27, 29) of the preform (17) in the region of a central section (40, 40'), wherein each leg contour (55, 56) does not touch the respective longitudinal side (27, 29), thus forming two gripping flaps (53, 54), gripping the preform (17) at the gripping flaps (53, 54), pulling the gripping flaps (53, 54) outwardly away from the longitudinal sides (27, 29) such that the preform (17) is doubled over along a transverse centerline (16) and such that sealing areas (43, 45) in the region of back waist sections (39, 39') are placed in a superimposed relationship with sealing areas (47, 49) in the region of front waist sections (41, 41'), and mutually connecting the sealing areas (43, 45, 47, 49).
Abstract:
The present invention entails a panty (10) having a crotch area (12) that is specifically designed to kill and inhibit the growth of yeast, bacteria and fungi. In particular, the panty (10) includes a crotch (12) made up of an open knit construction that is formed of both treated and non-treated yarn (16 and 14, respectively). The treated yarn (16) is treated with an antimicrobial agent that is capable of killing and inhibiting yeast.
