Abstract:
The pressurized waterproof case (10) for an electronic device (C) is particularly adapted for the waterproof containment and operation of a touch-screen computer (C) or the like therein at some appreciable water depth. The case (10) may be formed as an enclosure (12) having an open top panel (16) or face covered by a flexible, transparent membrane (28) or the like for the operation of the touch-screen device (C) within the case (10). A pressurizing system is provided for the case (10) to pressurize the case (10) and the electronic device (C) therein to slightly greater than ambient in order to prevent the external water pressure from bearing against the transparent membrane (28) and pressing it against the touch screen, thereby precluding operation of the touch screen device (C) within the case (10). The pressurizing system may be a small gas cartridge (32), or may be provided from an external source. A pressure relief valve (36) is also provided.
Abstract:
In various examples, a speed limiting apparatus (100, 200) includes a garment (102, 202)) configured to be worn by a user (10). The garment includes an enclosure (110, 220). A speed limiting assembly (120, 220) is coupled to the garment. The speed limiting assembly includes a chute (136, 236) disposed within the enclosure with the chute in a storage configuration (120A). The chute is deployable from the storage configuration to a deployed configuration (120B). A deployment bladder (130, 230) is separate from the chute. The deployment bladder is positioned proximate the enclosure and the chute such that at least partial inflation of the deployment bladder opens the enclosure and deploys the chute. In another example, a method of using a speed limiting apparatus is provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable liquid container comprising an inner flexible drink container (1) and an outer inflatable container (2), wherein the inner flexible drink container (1) is provided with a drink connection and a filling connection and the outer inflatable container (2) is provided with a blow connection, and in that the inner flexible drink container (1) is connected to the outer inflatable container (2), so that when the outer inflatable container (2) expands as a result of inflowing air through the blow connection, underpressure is created in the inner flexible drink container (1).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention provides systems and methods for inflating a device, such that the device forms a protective case securely enclosing a product, thus insulating and cushioning against the potential of impairment, damage and breakage. In one exemplary embodiment, the inflatable device is an inflatable bladder formable into a protective case that encloses the consumer device and provides an exceptional amount of protection in a lightweight device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mobile screen workstation provided with a PC or notebook (14), a screen (16), at least one peripheral device (18), such as a printer, telecommunications device, power pack, network-independent power supply unit or the like and a hard-shelled case (12). The hard-shelled case (12) has a base shell half (20) for accommodating the PC or notebook (14), the screen (16) and the one or more peripheral devices (18). The case also has a cover shell half (22) which is connected to the base shell half (20) by means of hinges. The base shell half (20) and the cover shell half (22) each have a base or cover wall (30) with rising side walls (32) and at least one padding layer (36) with a sealed, gas-filled chamber (44, 46) for protecting the PC or notebook (14), the screen (16) and the one or more peripheral devices (18) against mechanical shocks. The one or more padding layers (36) are arranged on the base wall of the base shell half (20) on which the cover wall of the cover shell half (22) is arranged and/or said layer is arranged on the PC or notebook (14), the screen (16) and the one or more peripheral devices (18) when the hard-shelled case (12) is closed from above.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for transporting clothes comprising a hanger body (10) with a triangular component (12) for supporting a garment with shoulders, said body having a rear face (13) and an opposing front face (14) with a recess (15) of a size to contain folded trousers.
Abstract:
The structure allows portable equipment comprising elements (7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) which can preferably, although do not have to be, interconnected using one or more wired connections to be carried around and used, the said structure comprising: - two platforms (1, 2) each of which comprises a bottom (8, 32) intended to support one or more parts of the equipment, - a lid (3), - means (19, 19') of connecting the lid (3) to the said platforms (1, 2), it being possible for the said structure to be configured into at least three configurations, namely a so-called transport configuration, a so-called intermediate configuration, and a so-called configuration of use. The said structure further allows, in all three configurations, at least one wired connection (9) to be led out from one platform (1) to the other (2) so as to connect at least one item supported by the internal face (8b) of the bottom (8) of a platform (1) to at least one other element supported by the internal face (32b) of the bottom (32) of the other platform (2).
