A swab roller formed from an elongated stem having a first end terminating with a covering and a second end terminating with a covering. A casing tube placed over a portion of the elongated stem is sized to allow the rotation of the elongated stem within the casing tube. The covering is formed from an absorbent material such as cotton or foam. The swab roller can be constructed of inexpensive components, such as paper for general use or from medical grade materials or sterile packaging for specialty use.

The invention concerns a cosmetic device with a container (10) for accommodating a viscous cosmetic product, a closure (14) for the container and a screw thread having an external and an internal thread (24, 26) for screwing the closure together with the container, in which the screw thread has a latching device (36, 38, 40), which latches the container and the closure together with each other in a predetermined screwed position, and the container and the closure each have a sealing surface (28, 30), which abut against each other at least in the latched state. According to the invention it is provided that both sealing surfaces (28, 30) are polished and free from separations.

La presente invención se refiere a un dosificador del tipo roll-on de los que, dispuestos en la boca de un contenedor, la cierran mediante una esfera que, al rodar, va permitiendo la salida de determinadas cantidades del producto a dosificar siendo que la esfera presenta un relieve preferiblemente proyectado hacia el interior de la esfera y formando canales que de manera 5 preferente formen conductos, y un casquillo de la esfera con una serie de ondulaciones que comunican la parte interior y la exterior permitiendo que también a través de ellos pueda salir el producto. El casquillo que retiene la esfera se encuentra realizado en material elástico y deformable de tal manera que ejerciendo una determinada presión es posible extraer la esfera del casquillo.

A device and method for drying a substance applied to a surface as it is being applied to the surface. The device is designed to apply a form of energy including air movement, heat, or light and can be designed to apply combinations of energy forms. The energy form is applied to the surface during or after the substance has been applied to the surface. A design for the shape of the enclosure and features included in the enclosure for the device are disclosed which enhances the drying efficiency.
