A tuft picker for a tuft picking device suitable to be used in a brush making machine is provided, wherein a working surface of the tuft picker comprises at least a tuft picking notch with a depth, a width and an opening, wherein a first projection and a second projection reduce the opening of the tuft picking notch versus an inner width, wherein at least one top of the first and/or second projection is located off-site the working surface of the tuft picker and inside of the notch, wherein a distance from the at least one top to the working surface of the tuft picker is in the range of from 0.05mm to 0.5mm and wherein an angle between the working surface of the tuft picker and a line of reflection symmetry crossing the at least one top is in the range of from 10 to 45°.

Abstract:
A brush head for example a toothbrush head may have a plurality of cleaning elements which can differ from each other in at least one property. Nevertheless, the different cleaning elements have to be fastened by one of their ends in a brush head. The fastened ends may show thickenings which are produced by melting and optionally reshaping with a punching tool. By applying different amounts of heat to the ends to be molten individual thickenings which may meet individual requirements can be produced for each of the different cleaning elements.

Eine Transporteinrichtung in einer Bürstenherstellungsmaschine, insbesondere einer Bürstenstopfmaschine, hat eine Halterung (30) für mehrere nacheinander zu bearbeitende Bürstenteile (28) oder Borstenaufnahmen. Ein Antriebsmotor (36) in Form eines Servomotors bewegt die Halterung (30) schrittweise, wobei die Schrittbewegung durch ein Schrittgetriebe (34) erreicht wird. Darüber hinaus ist ein Verfahren zum Transportieren von Bürstenteilen oder Borstenaufnahmen vorgesehen.

One or more central carriers can be suspended via a flexible bridge between a pair of support carriers attached to the head frame. The bridge may be formed from an elastomer and permit the one or more central carriers to move from an initial position toward the head frame during use. The bridge may include rigid supports and flexible elastomeric supports. The carriers and the bridge can be formed as a unitary assembly attached to the head frame, such as via mechanical connections. The mechanical connections could include snap-fit connections.

The present invention relates to a method for forming a toothbrush and a toothbrush manufactured by the same, and more specifically, to a method for forming a toothbrush and a toothbrush manufactured by the same, in which rails with a predetermined structure are injection-molded across the leading end portion, the rear surface, both side surfaces, and portion of the front surface of a toothbrush head and the front surface, the rear surface, and both side surfaces of a connection portion, in order to facilitate the injection molding and to increase a coupling force when a toothbrush is manufactured using materials with a different property and a different melting point. Further, a soft material with a different property and a high melting point is injected into the toothbrush head and the connection portion, thereby forming a soft buffer member which is reliably coupled through thermal adhesion.
