Der Arbeitstisch hat ein Untergestell (1), auf dem eine Tischplatte (3) ruht, die eine Oberseite (30) und eine Unterseite (31) besitzt, sowie eine Elektroinstallation (7) zum Anschluss zu- und abführender Stromversorgungs- und/oder Kommunikationskabel. Ein unter der Tischplatte (3) angeordnetes Sammelbehältnis (2) dient zur Aufnahme der Kabel und von Anschlussteilen, wobei das Sammelbehältnis (2) eine Öffnung (29) aufweist, die mit einem wiederholt betätigbaren Verschlussmittel (21) versehen ist. Das Sammelbehältnis (2) besteht aus verdichtetem Vliesstoff. Der Vliesstoff des Sammelbehältnisses (2) besteht zumindest im wesentlichen aus thermisch verpressten synthetischen Polymerfasern, z.B. Polyester, denen anteilig Naturfasern beigemischt sein können, und ist schall-durchgangshemmend und schall-absorbierend. Das Sammelbehältnis (2) weist einen im Boden (20) freigeschnittenen Flügel (200) auf, der sich bei offenem Verschlussmittel (21) bewegen lässt und damit die Öffnung (29) freigibt. Das Verschlussmittel (21) ist ein Reissverschluss, der den Flügel (200) vorzugsweise partiell umläuft. Der Flügel (200) senkt sich bei offenem Verschlussmittel (21) durch Schwerkraft aus der Öffnung (29) heraus klappenartig ab.

A table construction (Fig.1) includes a base (41) having a pair of legs (42, 43) secured together by a transverse beam (44), and a tabletop (45) pivoted to a top of the legs (42, 43) for movement between a horizontal use position and a vertical storage position. A pair of support arms (47, 48) are pivoted to the top of the legs (42, 43) for selectively holding the tabletop (45) in the horizontal use position. The support arms (47, 48) are spring-biased and pivoted at an angle so that they counterbalance a weight of the tabletop (45) during its pivotal movement. Ganging connectors (51, 53) on opposite ends of the tabletop (45) automatically interconnect adjacent tables upon pushing adjacent tables together. The legs (42, 43) each include first and second castings that bolt together and that are arranged to matably nest when tables are moved together for storage.

A privacy screen apparatus can include an upper member having a first end and a second end, at least one first leg connected to the first end of the upper member, at least one second leg connected to the second end of the upper member, and a bendable body connected to the upper member adjacent to a first edge of the body and adjacent to a second edge of the body to define a pouch or channel below the upper member. Cords, cables, or wiring can be positioned in the pouch or channel. The bendable body may also hang from the upper member to provide a visible barrier to provide privacy.

본 발명은 사각 기둥부를 이용하여 공간 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 가구 시스템 및 그 배열 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 가구 시스템 및 그 배열 방법을 이용하면, 테이블의 이용자들의 편의를 희생하지 않으면서도 한정된 공간에 많은 수의 테이블을 효과적으로 배열할 수 있으므로, 공간 효율을 높일 수 있다.
Abstract:
A flexible modesty panel can conform to curved furniture shapes to allow the modesty panel to be used in connection with furniture such as continuous classroom desk systems that may assume an arbitrary configuration. For example, the flexible modesty panel may be used with a modular desk system configured to form rows of continuous curving desk surfaces. The modesty panel may have a plurality of grooves on one side. Panels may be longitudinally interconnected using connectors disposed within the grooves and may supported using panel support brackets that connect to the grooves. Bolts having oblong heads that are designed to slip into the grooves in the modesty panel enable panel support brackets to be connected at arbitrary positions along the length of the modesty panel. A top groove in the modesty panel may be provided to enable name cards to be supported on the top edge of the modesty panel.

A method of making a sound-absorbing screen (1), comprising: a)preparing two panels (2, 3) of felt material (21, 31), preferably comprising fibers including recycled textile fibers, bi-component fibers and polyester fibers; b)placing a first of the two panels (2, 3) in a press; c)placinga framework (4) onto said first panel (2, 3), d) placing the other one of the panels (2, 3), onto the other panel (2, 3), to sandwich said framework (4) and/or inserts between the panels (2, 3); and e)compressing the formed sandwich to the panels (2, 3) to one another to form a unit (1) by means of a bonding film (100).
