The product dispenser includes a housing and a photoelectric power device disposed on an external surface of the housing. The product dispenser may include a power storage device configured to store energy provided via the photoelectric power device. The product dispenser may also include a motor or pump configured to operate to provide a dispense of the product. The product dispenser components, including the photoelectric power device, the power storage device, and the electric motor may be aligned to operate at a system voltage such that no voltage adjustment relative to an output of the photoelectric power device is needed. This reduces electric power losses. The product dispenser may be configured to perform an installation routine to aid in proper placement of the product dispenser with respect to receiving light for powering the photoelectric power device.

After opening, the pull-tab assembly can be stowed to the lid, so as to provide a lid-based plug corresponding to the package hole. Optional tamper-evident elements allow a consumer to see the package has not yet been opened. Stay-open flaps (107b, 115) and anti-peel mechanisms (107a) may also be provided. A dispensable roll/fanfold of the closures can feed a flow-wrap packaging process.

The cover has two configurations: a concave one where it seals the tablet tissue reservoir and a convex one, where said reservoir is unsealed. Pressed tablet tissue is placed in the tablet tissue reservoir, and e.g. disinfectant in the liquid reservoir. When finger force is applied on the reservoir, the lower cover ( 2 ) moves from its concave to its convex state. This movement makes sure that the liquid and the pressed tablet tissue meet, and the tablet tissue inflates and reaches the normal usage dimensions.

Pulling on the middle strip causes the shear lines to lengthen until the reactant compartment is shorn open to release a reactant. A permeable second reactant compartment containing a second reactant may also be disposed inside the containment envelope, and may include a slit through which the middle strip passes. The reaction in the pouch may be exothermic and the pouch may be applied to any object to be heated such as a wet wipes dispenser.
