Abstract:
Provided are compositions comprising an orally-acceptable carrier and an anionic copolymer derived from the polymerization of n-vinyl pyrrolidone (VP) with an anionic monomer compound containing phosphorus. Also provided are uses of such compounds in the oral cavity to inhibit demineralization of a tooth.
Abstract:
The invention belongs to the cosmetic field, and relates to a hair styling composition containing Cymbidium Grandiflorum flower extract and use thereof, the composition comprising a fixing polymer or a combination of a fixing polymer and a film-forming polymer, a fatty alcohol, and Cymbidium Grandiflorum flower extract. The composition leads to an improvement in the physical-optical properties of the hair. The composition of the present invention improves the look of the hair referring to moisture and shine as well as provides a strong hold of the styled hair without generating stiff hair.
Abstract:
A composition for treating a keratin material, comprising at least one amino acid surfactant, at least one amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant, at least one solid fatty acid, at least one starch phosphates, and at least one acrylic thickening polymer. The composition has an improved rinsing speed after application, and is stable over 2 months, with an improved foaming properties, such as density of foam, and foaming volume.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymers. The water- soluble or water-dispersible polymer comprise a first monomer having hydrogen bonding/complexing properties to polyphenols, a second monomer having detergent properties, and a third monomer having hydrogen bonding/complexing properties to polyphenols, wherein the first monomer and the third monomer are the same or different. The present invention also provides oral care compositions comprising the water-soluble or water-dispersible polymers. The present invention also provides methods of cleaning, whitening and polishing natural teeth and dental prosthesis and of preventing, reducing or removing surface deposited stains from teeth by administering the oral care compositions. The water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer has a structure: wherein x, y, z, mole %, n, R 1 , andR 2 are defined herein.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to nitric oxide (NO)-releasing nail coating compositions, NO-releasing coatings, and methods of using the same, for example, to treat fungal infections of a nail. Provided according to embodiments of the invention are nitric oxide (NO)- releasing nail coating compositions and/or coatings. In some embodiments, a NO-releasing nail coating composition and/or coating may be in the form of a film. In some embodiments, a NO-releasing nail coating may be formed from a NO-releasing nail coating composition. In some embodiments, a NO-releasing nail coating composition may be in the form of a nail lacquer, a paste, a cream, a gel, and/or an ointment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aqueous composition for treating hair comprising one or more cationic polymers having certain cationic change density and one or more of nonionic surfactants. The novel composition provides hair long lasting conditioning, especially improves combability and suppleness of hair which is held up to 20 hair washes.
