Abstract:
A paddle for water sports is provided that allows a user to more effectively propel themselves through the water. The paddle comprises a blade, a fastener for fastening the paddle to a user's forearm, a gripping portion mounted to the blade and a connector extending from the fastener to the paddle, wherein the connector is bendable to enable the blade to be moved between an operating position and a stowed position.
Abstract:
A method and system for performing linear and circular movement patterns is provided. The method and the system include a limb-activated linearly and circularly moveable apparatus comprising a rotatable platform coupled to a slideable base. A limb gripping the apparatus can slide the apparatus across a surface while rotating the platform. The apparatus is designed to constantly realign the joints involved in the movements and without straining the joints of the body to maximize productivity and promote joint comfort.

Abstract:
Weight bench having a frame that rests on the floor, a seat mounted on the frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the frame to the rear of the seat for movement between horizontal, inclined, and declined positions relative to the seat, a plurality of resilient elements which can be selectively connected between the backrest and the frame for lifting the backrest toward the inclined position, a swinging arm pivotally mounted to the frame in front of the seat for movement between raised and lowered positions, a weight bar extending laterally from a free end of the swinging arm for engagement by the legs of a person doing leg exercises, a handle attached to the swinging arm for engagement by the hands of a person sitting on the seat for doing upper body and arm exercises, and weights stored in holders attached to the frame for attachment to the weight bar and for manual use in doing exercises that do not involve the weight bar.
Abstract:
A multifunctional training apparatus (10), for fitness 9;! the lower limb muscles, comprises a training bench (T-)'' that is adapted to support a user (30) in a desired training position, a movable rotatable support unit (20), for resisting to a muscular force of a lower limb which is caused by a reciprocating movement, a contrast member (3)! that is adapted to provide a resistance force against the' movement of the movable support unit (20), and a support element (2) that is adapted to pivotally support the movable support unit (20) and the contrast member (3)»V! ' More precisely, the support element (2) is mounted on the training bench (1) by a rotatable coupling about an axis (8) that is at an angle with respect to the training bench (1), such that the movable support unit (20) can rotate from a first substantially vertical position (50) to' a second substantially horizontal position (60). This way, training movements are possible of the lower limbs according to movement in a vertical plane in a horizontal plane, using a single training equipment.

Abstract:
The invention concerns a sliding device comprising a line (1 ) which has an extensible line part and an outer gripable end (2). The outer end is wholly or partially extensible in a direction of movement (r) from a starting position to a final position while overcoming an in-pulling force. The line also comprises an inner end (15), which is at least located in the proximity of the starting position. Further the sliding device also comprises a substrate (4), intended to be placed on a surface, which substrate has a sliding surface (5), which has a first end (6) and a second end (7) and which extends in parallel to the direction of movement of the line. The first end of the sliding surface is at least located in the proximity of the final position. The in-pulling force is dimensioned to pull a person, who grips the outer end of the line and places herself on the sliding surface, towards the starting position, wherein this person slides on the sliding surface.
Abstract:
The present invention (12) discloses an exercise device wherein a user (l4) exercises the abdominal muscles and/upper body strength training by throwing a ball (16) into a ball shoot (18) or against a rebound surface (20). The user (14) places back (22) on a horizontal fixed back rest portion (24) and buttocks (26) on a pivotal seat (28) and feet (30) on an adjustable device (32) provided for securing the feet. Springs (34) provides shock dissipation while the user (14) catches ball (16) in a downward position. The user (14) throws ball (16) in an upward movement into a ball shoot (18) retrieving ball (16) located at bottom ball ram (36).
Abstract:
A device and method for stretching, toning and strengthening the chest, shoulder, neck and upper back muscles of a patient thereby relieving pain and improving posture. Typically the patient is suffering from tension related muscle problems. The device and method are used to facilitate therapeutic treatment of the muscle problems by progressively stretching the muscles and thereby relieving the muscle problems.
