Abstract:
A binding that may be adjusted quickly to the length of a boot is disclosed. The binding comprises two bearing plates (2, 3) engageable by the boot sole and attached to a base (1) which is in turn attachable to a snowboard. The bearing plates (2, 3) and the base (1) together define two recesses for receiving two sliding blocks (14, 18). Yokes (4, 5) for retaining the toe and heel portions of the boot are attached to the sliding blocks. Said sliding blocks are longitudinally movable relative to the base (1) by means of threaded rods that may be rotated by inserting a screwdriver into the ends (7) of the rods. Said binding is very compact and completely secured against the loss of a sliding block.
Abstract:
Device for holding a boot on a snowboard, especially, but not exclusively, a snowsurfing board. The device includes a longitudinal shaped support bar (6a, 6b), a support runner (12), and holding means (14) for the end of the boot. The slide (12) is slidingly mounted along the support bar (6a, 6b) which includes a rack (18a, 18b) extending along at least part of its length. The device is characterised by a pushing device (34) with teeth (30, 31), which is guided in a vertical receptacle of the slide (12) and which cooperates with the notches of the rack (18a, 18b) to stop the slide in a predetermined longitudinal position. When the pushing device (22) is in a raised position, it prevents engagement of the boot.
Abstract:
A bath and shower device comprises a bath-tub (1) associated with a shower partition (4) mounted on a wall (2) above the upper rim (3) of the bath-tub (1). The base (5) of the bath-tub (1) has a flat stable surface (6). The shower partition (4) consists of several hingedly connected segments (7) which are pivotally fastened to the wall (2) and which can be swivelled from a deployed position in which they form a shower recess to a collapsed resting position against the wall (2) which uncovers the bath-tub (1), and vice versa. The bath and shower device offers improved shower facilities and improved safety, because the stable surface (6) of the bath-tub (1) is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the bath-tub (1) in approximately the centre of the base (5).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A base (18) includes a first bail (26) that is pivotally connected to the base. A second bail (28) is pivotally connected to the base. An operating arm (44) is connected to the second bail and pivotally connected to the base. A trigger mechanism (36) is connected to the second bail to move the second bail from a first unlocked position to a second locked position. The operating arm is pivoted in a first direction to cause the second bail to move from the second locked position to the first unlocked position.
Abstract:
Releasable binding assembly, particularly for snowboards, for fastening both of a skier's boots to a single board. The assembly includes two binding elements (2, 3) and a common resilient return device (36). Each binding element (2, 3) has a toe clamp (8,, 9) and a heel clamp (14, 15) with one of the clamps (14, 15) being connected via links (30, 31, 34, 35) to the resilient return device (36). Said links (30, 31, 34, 35) may impart to said resilient return device (36), in the form of a release force, both a vertically upward force from the end of the boot and a vertically upward force from either side edge of said boot end.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a binding device for sliding sports constituting, for each foot, a rocker member (1) which pivots on a support (2) interlocking with an adjustable plate (3), and a front stirrup (4) which is adjustable and inclinable. Each heel unit has an adjusting screw (5) which acts on an elastic means forming an automatic release device. A telescopic coupling bar (6) hinged to one end of the pivoting axle of each rocker member (1) thus connecting them mechanically, guarantees the simultaneity of the automatic release during a fall or when manually operated by acting upon one of the levers (7) provided for this use. Said device, according to the invention, is essentially designed for use in snow-surfing.
Abstract:
A snowboard binding for adapting an alpine ski binding which extends longitudinally of a snowski for use in snowboarding where the feet extend generally across a snowboard (56) comprises a binding plate (14) having a toe lug (40) and a heel lug (42) for connection to a longitudinally mounted alpine ski binding (58) and foot locating means (88) which when the foot is located thereby defines a toe-heel axis of the foot which is inclined to the toe lug-heel lug axis of the binding plate. The foot locating means may take various forms and in one embodiment comprises a plate (20) integrally or separably formed with the binding plate to which a rat trap (88) or other known foot binding is connected.
Abstract:
Abstract:
System of interface foot-snowboard (1) that provides a mobile connection between the shod foot (220) and the snowboard (10) or similar gliding board, either while riding or while resting. This connection forms a joint (300) that allows a movement of rotation in the horizontal plane and eventually small and limited tiltings and displacements. The rotation may be hindered under certain conditions or may be blocked in certain positions. The interface system takes different forms of application, as an independent device to be installed between a regular binding and the snowboard, as a device included into a binding, as a device included into a boot, or as a set of parts transforming an existing binding into such an interface system.
