    Abstract: A wet type air cleaner includes a housing (100) containing a water in a bottom thereof; a blower unit (120) installed in an upper portion of the housing and having a blower for generating a suction air flow to send air to the water, the blower being driven by a single driving source (110); a water spray unit (140) for drawing up and dispersing the water; and a guide unit (150) loacted between the water spray unit and the water, for guiding the water from the water spray unit to redisperse the water. The blowing operation of the blower unit and the water intake of the water spray unit are achieved by the single driving source.

    Abstract: A cleaning unit (50) for a wet type air cleaner includes a blowing unit (10) rotatably installed in a housing (1 ) containing therein water, for introducing indoor air toward the water (3); a guide (20) extended from a lower end of the blowing unit into the water, for supplying the indoor air into the water; and a plurality of ribs (30) provided at an inner surface of the guide, for dispersing the water in the housing by a centrifugal force of the blowing unit.     Abstract: This air cleaner is designed to absorb polluted particles in air efficiently though consuming little power and water by enlarging the contact surface between air and water when inlet air is passing through the inside of this instrument. The process is as follows. Fan motor rotates a water pipe (3) which has screw on its inside connected to the motor axis (7) in series. As this water pipe rotates, it moves up water in the basin to the injection pipe (2) with small holes. This injection pipe sprays water evenly in all horizontal directions by using centrifugal force. Sprayed water (6) flows down evenly along the creased side wall of cylinder (4) which has many holes. Polluted inlet air is induced into the inside through these holes (5) and goes out through water (6) sprayed by the injection pipe. This process makes it possible for water to absorb polluted particles and dust efficiently.
