The housing may remove debris from air entering the housing at the inlet prior to expelling cleansed air at the outlet. A baffle may be disposed within the housing and may define a first path for directing cleansed air to the outlet and may cooperate with an inner surface of the housing to define a second path that causes the air to circulate within the second housing. The baffle may include an opening permitting communication between the first path and the second path.

    摘要: The invention is a separator designed to separate an incoming stream of liquid, gas, and some particulate matter into a separate gas stream, and a separate liquid stream containing the particulate matter. This is achieved through cyclonic action and the use of a float to operate internal valves within the cyclone. The float is mounted on a shaft which is rotated by the motion of the incoming fluid stream and this motion is used to agitate the solids in the liquid so as to prevent the outlet port from becoming jammed. The outlet port also has an auger contained therein that removes particulate matter.

In the cyclone (3) there is disposed a dust separator (11) with a separator chamber (18). The separator chamber (18) is disposed between the lower outlet (12) of the cyclone for the particles and an inlet conduit (13) for air. In the separator chamber (18) the air flows upwards through a curtain of falling particles where fine dust is entrained upwards by the air while larger particles depart to a subjacent discharge sluice (10) for the granulate. The cyclone (3) has a conduit (16) which extends so far down in the conical section (17) of the cyclone so that dust separated in the dust separator (18) and supplied air may depart via the conduit (16) to the filter (6) without being mixed among the larger particles.
