The invention relates to a method for producing refractory compositions and more particularly to a method for producing castable refractory compositions which comprises combining appropriate quantities of bulk particulate refractory aggregates substantially without pre-mixing; separately adding to the aggregate system an appropriate quantity of a pre-blended binder composition; mixing the aggregate system and the pre-blended binder composition in a mixer; and discharging the refractory composition from the mixer.

The special features of the cement silo for holding cement powder and other powdered materials using compression to transport large amounts with land and marine vehicles are that at the center of the silo body (1) is the cone (2) with decreasing diameter from the upper part of the silo body (1) to the lower part of the silo body (1). Furthermore, the cone (2) functions to contain the cement powder and other powdered materials such that the silo body (1) and the cone (2) are assembled into a part that jointly functions in the filling of cement powder and other powdered materials. The cone (2) has a height that slopes downward to the bottom end of the cone at the bottom of the silo body (1). Pressure is created inside thee cone (2) at the center of the silo body (1) for released pressure to transport cement powder and other powdered materials out of the cone (2) at the center of the silo body (1).

A silo for storing construction material mixtures comprises an upper silo portion (1), a lower silo portion, (2) and a material intake device (3). The upper silo portion (1) comprises a main chamber (10) having a main chamber bottom end (101). The lower silo portion (2) comprises a plurality of distribution chambers (20). Each of the distribution chambers (20) has a top end (201) and a bottom end (202) opposite to the top end (201). Further, each of the distribution chambers (20) is connected, with the top end (201), to the main chamber bottom end (101) of the main chamber (10), and is connected, with the bottom end (202), to a discharge passage (21), which can be opened and closed by means of a discharge valve (22) arranged at the discharge passage (21). Through the material intake device (3) construction material can be supplied to the main chamber (10).
