摘要: The novel group of polymers is presented under the name of “Powdered Metastable Polymer Materials” (PMPM). The PMPM is in a chemically stable state at an ambient temperature of 25°C for a relatively long time, but is in a thermodynamically unstable state, and may change to either a stable state (in this case, revulcanization), or an unstable state (in this case, decomposition). According to the prior art, these PMPMs are, under various conditions, malleable, processible, compoundable and revulcanizable, and thus make it possible to form new vulcanized or coagulated products, with or without moulds, with or without other polymers or elastomers, vulcanizing agents, compatibilizers, various additives, etc. even if they are incompatible or immiscible to begin with. The PMPM is manufactured by the process known as “metactivation”, which applies, to already vulcanized polymer granulates, a multidirectional microcracking by individual rotary compression and a disintegration by micro auto-explosion, thus obtaining a metastable state by virtue of a reduction in the activation enthalpy necessary for triggering a spontaneous reaction. The classification of rubbers as granulates or powders, manufactured from vulcanized rubbers is arranged in a table that classifies the typologies according to the scientific characteristics that make it possible to demonstrate the specificities of the PMPM. The properties of this group, which are fundamentally novel, open the way to the complete reuse of already vulcanized polymers such as used tyres.

(PMPM)。

Equipment for controllable fine milling of tires (31) and other elastic materials by ultrahigh pressure liquid jet process, to the main feature of the equipment that milling is performed by a group of high-speed linear- vibrating liquid jets that are perpendicular to the forward motion of the workpiece in such way that jets are perpendicular also to the surface of the workpiece or slightly inclined to that perpendicular; and the speed of vibration considerably exceeds the speed of forward motion of the workpiece. For the sake of dynamic balancing of milling system the linear vibrating motion is performed by twindriven milling heads (40, 140, 240), which solution also enables processing of workpieces in pair. Fineness of rubber-grain product is principally controlled by coordinated motion parameters of milling, namely by forward speed of workpiece and the frequency of vibration.

摘要: A comminution apparatus for refining various materials into smaller pieces of a desired size, has a pair of generally circular disks disposed on a common axis and arranged generally parallel to one another forming a comminution region therebetween. Each disk incorporates a plurality of removable cutting bars radially disposed on the disk face, one disk having an even number, the other having an odd number of cutting bars. Process material is fed into the comminution space between the opposing disks and comminuted by counter-rotation of the disks which shears material between opposing cutting bars as they pass. Spacing between the disks is adjustable to suit the input process material. Tapered disk faces control flow of material during the comminution process, permitting only material that has been sufficiently reduced in size to migrate toward the disk perimeter where a skirt ring structure controls the size of the granulated material output.
