Abstract:
Tool (10) to make at least a crease on a sheet or a strip (11) made of at least relatively rigid material. The tool (10) is able to be selectively moved in relation to the sheet or strip (11), in order to define at least a first operative position in which it is able to perform a continuous or blind crease (11a), and a second operative position in which it is able to execute a through or segmented crease (11b), or is able to execute a true and proper cut.
Abstract:
A machine for punching blanks (10) of corrugated cardboard out of a web or plates of corrugated cardboard and for forming folding lines (5) in said blanks. The machine has two cylinders (2, 3) rotating towards each other and of which at least one cylinder is provided on the outer surface with a curved wooden plate (6). The punching tools and the folding line tools (8, 9) are mounted on said wooden plate by being pressed into slits in said wooden plate(6). The cylinders (2, 3) are made of metal, preferably steel. The wooden plate (6) is secured to the cylinder (2, 3) by being screwed (15) thereon. The wooden plate is centred on the cylinder by means of two adjustable rings (4) on the cylinder. Each ring (4) is provided with an axially directed guide projection (4a, 4b) adapted to interact with an end notch (6a, 6b) in the wooden plate. In this way, it is rendered possible in a very simple way to centre the wooden plate and consequently the punching tool in relation to the vertical centre plane of the cylinder.
Abstract:
Apparatus (20) to make blanks (30; 130) starting from a sheet (5) of material fed by feed means (1, 2) in a direction of feed (A), comprising etching and cutting means (3, 4) suitable to perform etchings (31; 131) and/or longitudinal cuts (32; 132, 135) on said sheet (5), parallel to said direction of feed (A), and cropping means (8) suitable to shear the sheet (5) so as to separate said blank (30; 130) from it, characterized in that said etching and cutting means (3, 4) comprise a first roller (3) to which at least a second roller (4), parallel to said first roller (3) is associated, and in that said first roller (3) comprises a first portion (3a), substantially in the form of a hollow body, and a second portion (3b), substantially conformed as an internal bar, coaxial to said hollow body, said first portion (3a) being provided with cutter means (9) on an external surface (19) and being removably associated with said second portion (3b).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a container, particularly a cup, with a base and a first sidewall, whereas the first-sidewall comprises at least a first, at least partially circumferential shaping directed inwardly and/or outwardly.

Abstract:
Method and arrangement for controlling the temperature of two cylinders (1, 2) forming a nip of controlling the temperature of two cylinders forming a nip. The temperature of at least one point on each cylinder is sensed by means of sensors (11), forming a point of measuring, wherein the highest sensed temperature is used as set point and wherein the cylinders (1, 2) are heated in areas where the sensed temperature is below the set point.
Abstract:
A web material (2) for producing packages (17) of food products and having a number of fold lines (4) formed by creasing and including longitudinal fold lines (4a) defining the vertical edges of the packages (17), and a number of transverse fold lines (4b) defining the base edges of the packages (17); the longitudinal fold lines (4a) have a lower crease strength than the transverse fold lines (4b), so as to improve formation, but without impairing the stability and strength, of the packages (17).
