Abstract:
In one example implementation, a printing device may comprise a number of media skewing rollers to skew a print medium to a predetermined angle with respect to a media feed path and a print engine to print an image on the skewed print medium, the print engine skewing a digital representation of the image based on the predetermined angle such that the image printed is aligned with the print medium. In another example implementation, a printing device may comprise a number of skewing rollers to skew a print medium to a predetermined angle with respect to a media path, a number of pinch rollers to receive the skewed print medium prior to printing, and a print engine skewed to the same predetermined angle as the skewed print medium.
Abstract:
An integrated ink-and-paper cassette (1) mountable to a thermal transfer printer (40) includes an ink-sheet supply unit housing (20) between an opening (30) for ejecting the recording sheet (13) and an ink-sheet take-up unit housing (21). Also, an upper case (10) mainly defining a recording sheet housing (22) is welded to a lower case (11) defining ink-sheet housings when assembled with the upper case (10), in the vicinity of a conveyance path of the ink sheet (12) at which a load is likely applied.

Abstract:
There are described drive roller assemblies for pulling print media within, or in conjunction with, a printing apparatus. In one embodiment the assembly includes a rigid drive roller having a hard outer surface in conjunction with a pressure roller having a deformable surface. In another embodiment the assembly has a rigid drive roller (40) in conjunction with a plurality of pressure rollers (42, 44) which are adapted for pressing print media against the drive roller over substantially different portions of the drive roller length.
Abstract:
Sheet feeder for suppling the cylinder (14) of an office machine with paper sheets from a pile (24) stored in a magazine (20). The device may be adapted to the office machine; the driving of a debundling roller (28) which is friction-driven and applied against the paper stack (24) by the cylinder of the typewriter (14) is such that, when the cylinder of the typewriter (14) rotates in the direction opposite to the paper introduction rotation, the debundling roller (28) is driven in the paper introduction direction. To prevent the debundling roller (28) from hindering the paper introduction in the cylinder of the typewriter (14), the magazine (20) is pivotingly engaged with a control cam (34). The control cam (34) is driven by the cylinder of the typewriter (14) so as to push back the magazine (20) against the debundling roller (28) when the cylinder of the typewriter (14) rotates in the direction opposite to the paper introduction rotation direction, and so as to push the magazine away from the debundling roller (28) when the cylinder of the typewriter (14) rotates in the paper introduction direction.
