Abstract:
A combination paint receptacle and handle for lifting and carrying the paint receptacle includes (i) a handle with first and second handle prongs depending from a hand-grip portion and (ii) a substantially rigid paint tray including a bottom wall and four side walls joined to, and extending upwardly from, the bottom wall toward an open receptacle top end. Two opposed side walls extend longitudinally along a tray axis. A top-end periphery defining the open receptacle top end includes at least one outwardly extending receptacle lip extending along each of the opposed side walls, and each receptacle lip has a lip underside. A deviated lip portion with a component of spatial extension perpendicular to the top end periphery is defined along each of the two opposed side walls and has defined therethrough a prong-receiving aperture configured for insertably and removably receiving one of the first and second handle prongs.
Abstract:
The present invention provides removable liner for a container, said liner suitable for working viscous material such as wet or moist compositions and the like, said liner comprising: a) a deformable resilient body nestable within a container; b) a stick resistant surface which resists adhesion of the material being worked and; c) means for positive engagement with the container such that when the material is worked in the liner, the liner is secured in position.
Abstract:
The product, subject of the present invention, is a tray for paint that is assembled on a board. One or two wheels are connected on the base of the board, to enable the tray and the board to be mobile on the floor. One or two legs are connected on the back/bottom part of the tray, in order to stabilize the tray and the board so that it does not move when dipping the roller in the tray. The tray is connected to the board at one or two points through a connection which includes a spring. Upon exerting force on the front end (the deep end) of the tray, the front then tilts downwards whilst the back end (the shallow end) tilts upwards so that the legs are detached from the floor, and enables the movement of the board and the tray on the floor. The product, subject of the present invention, also includes a disposable tray in a shape similar to that of the permanent tray, made of aluminium or plastic sheeting and such may be used as a disposable tray. The disposable tray is attached to the permanent tray and the paint is then poured into it. Whenever a paint change is desired or at the end of the work, the disposable tray is discarded and replaced with another. One or more sliding compartments (drawers) can be added to the bottom of the board as well as a carry handle for the entire apparatus.
Abstract:
A paint tray comprising a retractable handle wherein the handle further comprises a frame and a shaft that retracts and protracts from the frame and a handle part with a built-in cradle to receive and hold a handle stick, and wherein the frame is rotationally attached to corresponding parallel sides of the tray, and further comprising blocking means to retain the frame in a working position
Abstract:
A coating combination suitable for use in coating architectural surfaces which comprises in combination a lidded container for a coating composition, a coating composition provided within the lidded container, and a buoyant coating contacting member (4) including at least one aperture (10) disposed substantially horizontally within the lidded container, wherein the buoyant coating contacting member has physical properties selected from at least one of shape, density, number of apertures, and total area of apertures such that the buoyant coating contacting member is buoyant on the coating composition and submersible within the coating composition to the extent that under a downwards force from a coating applicator, a portion of the coating composition is allowed to flow through the at least one aperture such that the coating applicator can pick up the coating composition.
Abstract:
A painter finishing bucket includes a first vessel, a second vessel and a bridge member. The first vessel has a continuous sidewall extending from a periphery of a bottom and terminating in a rim. The bottom and sidewall define a volume accessed through an open top. The second vessel has a continuous sidewall extending from a periphery of a bottom and terminating in a rim. The bottom and sidewall define a volume accessed through an open top. The sidewall includes a flattened portion extending from proximate the bottom to proximate the rim and having an inner surface textured to form a paint roller surface. A bridge member coupled the first vessel to the second vessel and includes a grip extending from a bottom of the bridge. The grip defines a volume opening in the bridge.
Abstract:
A paint tray system is configured to dispense paint onto a paint roller. The paint tray system includes a paint tray having a bottom section, an end wall and side walls forming a reservoir for holding paint. A paint limiter panel is received by the tray overlaying the reservoir in the paint tray, the limiter panel having at least one opening therein to allow paint to flow from the reservoir through the limiter panel. The paint tray system also includes at least one biasing member positioned within the reservoir configured to bias the limiter panel upwardly and away from the bottom section of the tray and thus the surface of the paint within the reservoir.

Abstract:
A paint tray which may be held by a painter while he/she is painting is disclosed. The paint tray includes a reservoir formed by a front wall (16), a right wall (14), a left wall (15), a back wall (19), and a bottom wall. The front wall (16) extends upwards at a slight angle in order to form a ramp (16B). the ramp may be used to remove excess paint from a painting tool. A handle (12) is attached to a portion of the right wall, left wall, and back wall which extend upwardly. A hook (11) is secured to the handle which may be held by the painter as he/she paints. Alternatively, the tray , may be suspended to a structure via the hook (11). A tab (13A) with a notch (13B) formed therein extends generally perpendicularly from the back wall and hangs above the bottom wall. The tab is used to hold a painting tool.
Abstract:
