Abstract:
A cleanable lid assembly is provided for a beverage container. The lid assembly has a lid housing having a drink aperture, and a seal assembly that is connected to the lid housing while movable between a first or operable position and a second or cleaning position. The seal assembly has a stopper that can open and close the drink aperture in the first position. The seal assembly is pivotally connected to the lid housing to transition to the cleaning position. A locking member extends transversely from the seal assembly to engage a stop on the lid housing and lock the seal assembly in the operable position. The locking member is moveable radially inward to disengage from the stop and to allow the seal assembly to transition from the first position to the cleaning position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cover embodiment (101) developed to be used especially in aseptic cardboard liquid packages (15) and to provide ease of use and it provides the flowing mouth to open in a maximum level by creating a homogeneous structure on the liquid flowing mouth thanks to the items located inside and enabling the aluminum foil part left inside the cardboard to be compressed between the package and the cover embodiment.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A sealing assembly for a closure is disclosed where the closure is for applying to an opening. The sealing assembly includes a substantially rigid cap portion for seating the sealing assembly in a roof portion of the closure and an insert portion attachable to the cap portion. The insert portion includes a flexible skirt portion extending from the insert portion and operable to contact an inner wall region of the opening on application of the closure to the opening. In one embodiment, the sealing assembly is for closures for sealing bottles of sparkling wine and the like.
Abstract:
First invention: A method of bottling liquids, in particular carbonated liquids or liquids sensitive to oxygen, on a machine comprising a conveying device (6) movable along a given path (P) and having at least one unit (14) for receiving and retaining a bottle (2, 2'), the method comprising the step of: - filling the bottle (2, 2') with a liquid as the unit (14) travels along a first portion (Tl) of the path (P); - capping the bottle (2, 2') with a cap (41, 41') as the same unit (14) travels along a second portion (T2) of the path (P). Second invention: A bottle as obtained by the method and also comprising a further cap (77, 83) applied onto a neck (5') of said bottle (2') and provided with coupling means (80) to engage and pull said cap (41') along the bottle axis (3) upon removal of said further cap (77, 83) from said neck (5') so as to open the bottle (2').
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drinks bottle, especially a wine or a sparkling wine bottle comprising a neck (4) which leads into a pouring opening (6). Said bottle comprises a sealing system (8) which prevents the taste of the drink in said bottle from being altered in prolonged storage and corresponds to the high expectations of consumers to a considerable degree. According to the invention, the pouring opening (6) is sealed by means of a crown cork (10) which is surrounded by a packaging formed from a shaped cap (22) and a capsule (28) surrounding said cap with a part of the neck of the bottle (4). The shaped cap (22) is dimensioned in such a way that it is reminiscent of a mouth having the form of an upper band when the drinks bottle is sealed. According to a method for sealing the drinks bottle which is especially suitable for applying one such sealing system (8), the shaped cap (22) is initially connected to the initial body (30) provided in order to form the capsule (28), and then placed above the pouring opening (6) which is provided with the crown cork (10). The initial body (30) is subsequently rolled or tightened on the shaped cap (22) and on the respective part of the neck of the bottle (4) in order to form the capsule (28).
Abstract:
A method for angularly positioning an axially asymmetrical sealing device (2) relative to a flexible tube (1) for dispensing a substance with a liquid to pasty consistency, wherein the neck (5) of said tube (1) supports said sealing device (2) and delivers the substance through a dispensing channel, and the tube carries indicia (9) relative to which said sealing device (2) is to be adjusted. Said tube (1) is filled through its open bottom with the sealing device (2) in place, then sealed by flattening and heat sealing the end opposite the neck (5). At least one reference marking (11) is formed on the tube (1) and the sealing device (2) is mounted and adjusted relative to said reference marking (11), this marking (11) being printed on the tube concurrently with the indicia (9). The reference marking (11) is used when squeezing and heat sealing the end (10) of the filled tube (1).
