A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end of the frame has a perimeter beam base, a raised floor and a pair of open-ended parallel fork tine tubes or sockets that communicate with the perimeter beam at the front and rear of the frame, preferably being structurally connected (e.g., welded) thereto. Openings in the perimeter beam base align with the forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a plurality of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the perimeter beam that include at least left and right side walls. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame including a gate at least at the front and at least at the rear of the frame, each gate being movable between open and closed positions, the gates enabling a forklift to place loads on the floor by accessing either the front of the frame or the rear of the frame. Each gate can be pivotally attached to a fixed side wall. The frame has vertically extending positioning beams or lugs that segment the raised floor into a plurality of load-holding positions. Each load holding position has a plurality of positioning beams or lugs that laterally hold a load module (e.g., palletized load) in position once a load is placed on the raised floor.

Eine Kiste umfasst einen Boden (12) und mindestens zwei Paare von sich jeweils gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden (14a, 14b, 16a, 16b), wobei sich eine erste der Seitenwände (16b) von dem Boden (12) in einer vertikalen Richtung (18) zumindest teilweise nur um eine Entnahmehöhe (20) nach oben erstreckt, die kleiner ist als die Höhe einer oder mehrerer der übrigen Seitenwände (14a, 14b, 16a), um eine seitliche Öffnung mit einer Abmessung zu definieren, die einen Zugriff auf und eine Entnahme von in der Kiste enthaltenen Produkten durch die seitliche Öffnung ermöglicht. Die Kiste umfasst ferner eine Einsatz (112) zum Anordnen auf dem Boden (12), wobei der Einsatz (112) abhängig von den von der Kiste aufzunehmenden Produkten ausgestaltet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Transportbehälter (1) bestehend aus einem Bodenteil (2) und von diesem Bodenteil aufsteigenden Seitenwänden (3, 4), von denen mindestens eine eine mit einer Klappe (6) verschließbare Zugangsöffnung (5) aufweist, wobei die Klappe (6) zweigeteilt ist, derart, dass ein unteres Klappenteil (8) mit einem oberen Klappenteil (7) jeweils aus der Seitenwandebene nach aussen schwenkbar miteinander verbunden ist und die Verbindung eine in der Seitenwand (3) auf halber Höhe der Öffnung einrastbare horizontale Welle (9) ist.

The present invention relates to an egg crate container for use in handling, transporting or merchandising eggs, and more particularly, to an egg crate container which includes opening parts formed thereon in a size large enough for a worker's hands or wrists to get into and out of side walls to releasably retain egg crates made of paperboard or synthetic resin sheet therein in a simple manner, and reinforcing members to reinforce the side walls which are weakened because of the generation of the opening parts. The egg crate container includes a bottom plate having through-holes and first and third side walls and second and fourth side walls integrally formed with the bottom plate such that a cubic egg crate receiving space is defined by the bottom plate and the first and third side walls and the second and fourth side walls to pile a plurality of egg crates therein, wherein the first and third side walls each have an opening part formed thereon for allowing the worker's hands or wrists to reach the plurality of egg crates and a plurality of projections integrally formed therewith in such a manner that they are outwardly projected therefrom while being indented when being seen from the inside of the egg crate container, and wherein the first and third side walls and the second and fourth side walls have a horizontal flange integrally formed therewith along the top edges thereof and a vertical flange integrally formed with the horizontal flange along the outer edge of the horizontal flange.

For this purpose, the lid (18) consists of a cover plate (21) and a front wall (19) placed at right angles, said cover plate (21) is inserted, from the base box (1) open front face, into a peripheral groove (31) of the top edge, the base plate (4), has on its front ridge a supporting rim (10) provided with a ribbing (34) oriented upwards, just before reaching its closing position, the lid (18) being located inside the groove (31) widened in the side walls (2) rises slightly and when it drops after reaching its closing position, a projecting part (33) arranged on the inner front wall (19) lower edge (29) is engaged in the supporting rim (10) ribbing (34).
